Strangely enough, I do. I miss 4.0 over the 4.0.1 I had to restore to after my 4.0 restore froze up using SHSH blob. I know it makes no difference for reception, and I know that 4.0.1 reports it more accurately, and it's small, but I preferred easily attaining full bars and being lied to :P

The guy that answered told me that they had limited stock but if I come to the store tonight I should be able to get one. I rushed to the store and got there 45 mins later. I walked in and the sales lady with glasses and short hair asked me how she can help me. I asked politely if they have 32GB iPhone 4 in stock and she quickly answered no. I told her that I called earlier and they told me they have some in stock and she still said no. By then I was confused and walked out the store. Just to confirm I called the Stanford Mall Apple store and asked if they have 32GB iPhone 4 in stock and the guy on the phone confirmed they do. So I walked back in to the store and approached a male sales person. I asked again if they have 32GB iPhone 4 in stock and he replied yes. So by then I knew the lady lied to me. I was able to buy the phone, but it just upsets me that people would lie like that especially to customers. I would understand if the store was busy but it was half empty.
My question for everyone how would you handle the situation if you were in my shoes? I was upset at the time, but I didn't want to cause a scene at the store. I obviously wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I just experienced.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI need help getting cell tower reception on my phone. Using China Unicom as Network Carrier. I am located in Guangzhou China (a major metropolis). The problem is not with the SIM Card itself because it has been tested and placed in other phones & it works well. Reception Bars fluctuate between 0-2 bars at most, both in and outdoors.Have noticed these problems since upgrading the phone to IOS 5.0 & now also on 5.1.1. No problem with Wi-Fi Networks. I have also tried Resetting the Network & taking out the SIM Card and putting it back in, but this has not helped.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from a Bionic to a RAZR MAXX, and really liking the phone except for one thing: whilst it performs great at my home, it spends a lot of time falling back from LTE to 3G at my work. There is LTE coverage at my work, anywhere between 1-3 bars, whereas 3G is 4-5 bars. I understand the 3G signal is stronger, however the LTE signal is still strong enough to actually work, and I really DO NOT want the RAZR preferring the slower 3G signal at my work, as one of the main tasks I use it for is as a hotspot.
The Bionic used to consistently remain on LTE at my work, however a couple of weeks ago it had begun exhibiting similar behaviour as the RAZR MAXX above - preferring the 3G signal over the LTE.i initially thought Verizon must have made some network changes here - and it's possible they did - however as a test I put my SIM back into my old HTC Thunderbolt, which I had before either the Bionic or the RAZR MAXX.
The Thunderbolt consistently holds the LTE signal and does NOT fall back to 3G.Since the Bionic and RAZR MAXX perform differently to the Thunderbolt, I'm guessing it's either some Motorola vs HTC RF chipset difference, or perhaps the algorithms in the Motorola phones purposely selecting 3G to preserve battery.Is there any way to force the RAZR MAXX to hold on to the LTE signal, rather than keep falling back to the 3G signal? Perhaps in some app, or some super-secret debug mode? It's a RAZR MAXX - I don't mind sacrificing some battery to hold on the the weaker-but-faster LTE signal.

Since then for some reason now my iphone is unable to update the mail app with my google mail. I tried deleting the account, restartng the phone, and entering all my details in again. but everytime i get the same error about cannot contact imap server or something.

When I first set up my iCloud acct. on my iPhone 5s (7.1.1), I had a different email address than I do now. In trying to log in, it asks me for a long-forgotten password to this old email.
How can I resolve this???? I can't even delete the account because it requires that same old password first before I can turn off "Find My Phone."
Could anybody help me and tell me why all events from 27th October in the iPhone calender are 1 hour earlier as they should be (we have clock change on 26th October?

My contact's has "birthday" field given and it seems that systems automatically inserts these as activities. i.e. If one person has birthday on 22.07.2012, it shows on 21.07.2012 calender!

It starts when it won't let me scroll up to read earlier messages within the chat, then if I go back to my inbox and try to open the message again it won't open at all. If I try to start a new message to the same person it won't let me text them and I need to delete the message before I can. That can be a problem if I need to keep the text for some reason.

View 11 Replies View RelatedWell I have found a way to easily switch your signal bars on your status bar from regular bars to db's and back whenever you want. Well I'm on the latest beta of 4.1 (8b5097d) on IPhone 4 and it does have feild test (maby it's just because I restored from my 3GS but idk). So go to your phone app and then to the keypad. Then type *3001#12345#* and press call, this will put u in field test app. At the top I can tap the bars and it will switch to db's and if tapped again it will go back. So once u tap to change to db's hold the sleep button till slide to power pops up then let go of the sleep button and hold the home button (this is a respiring). Once u do that u can just easily tap the bars or db's and switch where ever you are in your phone. Good luck hope it works on all your phones. And ps you don't need to be jailbroken!
