IPhone :: Calendar (after Clock Change On 26th October) Events Are 1 Hour Earlier?
Jul 12, 2010
Could anybody help me and tell me why all events from 27th October in the iPhone calender are 1 hour earlier as they should be (we have clock change on 26th October?
FYI: Apples's support hotline couldn't help - they didn't found the problem
Information:
MacBook Pro
Mac OS X (10.5.5)
iPhone 3G with Version 2.1
Sony Erickson X Peria X2. Just bought an X Peria X2 for $650 CD N, Yesterday having a few small problems questions. Question 1: How do I change the time from 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock? I've gone into Settings -> System Settings -> Regional Settings and changed it from HH:mm:SS to H:mm:SS and turned the phone off then on. Tried other way around and it stays a 24 hour clock. The time style example doesn't change between the two options, it stays 24 hour clock. Question 2: How do I access the Memory card on my computer. I installed Windows Mobile Center on Windows 7. I can access the Phones Memory but not the memory card itself where all the pictures and stuff are. Question 3: The time of sending and receiving texts is different for me. I'll send a text at 13:33 and she replays 10 seconds later but the phone says she replied at 9:33, when it should be 13:33 as well as it was sent and received at the same time. This happens with everyone I text. Not a big deal but annoying as I wont know the correct time they text ed me back. Question 4: Everything seems to kinda run a little slow when opening things etc.... I have checked task manager and nothing else is running data is off everything, but still pretty slow. I watched a video saying that It will receive an update this month but when I go to Sony website they only have the X1 on there not the X2 for some stupid reason.
I just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.
When I travel and change time zones events in my calendar shift, which can be a problem with flight times etc that are always set up in local time and then suddenly appear 1, 2 or 3 hours earlier in my calendar. How do I turn off that feature?
On my iPad, iPod Touch's and other Apple products (And releatives Apple products) it shows 00:00 as 00:00 and 01:00 as 01:00 but on my iPhone 4S, it shows 01:00 as 1:00. This only changed recently because I noticed. I don't know how to fix it.
After updating to iOS 5.1 in my iPhone 4s, I can see that in the home screen, the calender is showing one day earlier that the current date i.e. today is 19-Mar-2012 but at my home page it is showing Sun-18 which is incorrect. But when I click on the calander it shows me the correct today date "19-Mar-2012".
I have Lumia950 and Windows 10 and time settings is set to 24-hour clock and region and local set to Iceland (I've tried other region settings and all the same).
When I set an alarm I only have option to use 12-hour AM/PM format. Is there a way to have the alarm using the 24 hour format?
(Good news is that the calendar alarms now allow 24 hour format for reminders which was not possible on my 1020!)
Its an iphone 4s and a mac book with snow lepard.I am putting all the events on my calandar through my iphone but they don't appear in ical when I sync via itunes.
Using Lumia fw 800 1600.2487.8107.12070. Is this mine settings fault, but in my calendar all phone-contact's birthdays are marked one day early! My contact's has "birthday" field given and it seems that systems automatically inserts these as activities. i.e. If one person has birthday on 22.07.2012, it shows on 21.07.2012 calender!
When I synch my Yahoo calendar and my torch the times show an hour ahead of the actual time on the device. I though it might be a daylight savings situation but that is set correctly on the pc. The device is set for the correct time zone. also, the device is set for UK English and I live in the US.
My Galaxy S5 is set up to synchronize with my Microsoft exchange server. Emails synchronize perfectly and calendar events entered on my Microsoft exchange account synchronize with my Galaxy S5. The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
After the clocks went forward again on Sunday morning my iPhone has yet again succumb to the bug of the hour delay in alarms. Has anyone else had this recentley happen again or is it just me? Also has anyone figured out a working fix for it
I noticed that when I enter a time for an event on my calendar on my iphone then sync it to icloud the event is show but the time for the event shows a 2 hour difference. Example: Dental appointment set for 9:00 am on my iphone but after sync to icloud on my PC, it shows the time to 7:00 am on my PC calendar.
I bought my iPhone yesterday and am struggling TI want to add events on the calendar.Touch on the calendar and today is displayed with a red line and dot at the time of day, but that is about far as it will let me go.In the user manual on line it says to touch anywhere on the screen to add an event!!! ....
My calendar app (Tuesday 1 Calendar) does not allow me to add events. There is not a (Calendars or +) at the top of the application. Previous iPhones I have had had this feature.
I set up my GMail account on my phone as an Exchange account so that it can sync contacts and calendars as well as mail. When I first set it up, I had the option of deleting the existing calendar events and syncing, or leaving my existing calendar. I did the latter, but now I have a separate GMail calendar on my phone with no events. I need to get my iPhone calendar events over to Gmail. Any quick way of doing so?
I'm about to restore this phone (3GS) to 4.0.1 and JB, and I have no other calendar application on my computer to sync with, which is why I need to get everything to the Gmail calendar.
I can't manage to add any events into my calendar . I've checked with the manual and noticed I don't have a + showing in the corner. Also tapping a date or time slot does nothing. Is there some setting I've overlooked?
