Mar 13, 2012My iPhone network connections (WiFi/4G) are extermely slow after performing the update to IOS 5.1! Speedtest.Net results over 4G = 0.15 Mpbs down and 0.05 Mpbs up ans that's will FULL bars! AT&T claims that there are no network issues in my area and they are not throttling my device. Even over WiFi it's taking FOREVER to download apps from the app store, etc.

Feb 18, 2010I just acquired my N900 two days ago from a Nokia authorised dealer in Nigeria and even convinced a colleague to pick one yesterday as well.I live in Nigeria and my GSM operator is etisalat, im presently experiencing difficulties with using service commands on my phone. For instance, when i dial *235(hash, sorry cant find the symbol on my macbook pro) to check my balance; i get an error message saying "number incorrect". Other service commands dont also work. Is there a way around this?
Its frustrating also that there is no official Nokia plugin for isync. I use a macbook pro and cant seem to find a way around syncing both devices. In the interim, I found www.salling.com very useful in transferring my media files.

Sep 1, 2012My blackberry curve 8530 for metro pcs keeps shutting off by itself (very frequently) and taking like 5 minutes to restart. I factory resetted the phone and it is still doing it. I tried to update it using the Desktop Software but it would not even connect, it would just charge it. Also, I went to setting and memory and prompt when connecting, and it still did not work. Also it keeps going in and out of service, when I know I have service, it says "Searching for network".

o2 say that all settings on the phone and their internal networks are correct. I send off to register the device, I never recieve a message back from BIS
I've been trying to get this sorted for 7 days now and I am so close to throwing the thing in the bin. Are there any RIM/Blackberry employees on this board that can take a look at it or tell me why the service book message just isn't being sent?
FWIW I bought this phone off a friend, on the same network and PAYG and everything worked fine with their sim, I put mine in and it just won't work, no matter what.
I've wiped, reset, downgraded OS, upgraded OS, gone over all settings, talked to o2 online, by phone, in store god knows how many times, and all i get is "register the device" IT DOES NOT WORK!
EDIT: I have an active blackberry bolt-on/data plan with o2
