May 22, 2012My phone spontaneously reduces the volume to zero, even when it is sat on the table. The "change with buttons" has been disabled but it still occurs.

IPhone :: 4 - Camera Roll Spontaneously Rearranged?
Jul 6, 2010I encountered a weird issue. I'd looked at a couple of photos in my camera roll, then set the phone (iPhone 4) down and went back to working. The phone went to sleep, and when I woke it up again, I got the screen saying that the photo libraries were being rebuilt (or something along those lines...I saw it before when I added a bunch of photos at once), and when the new libraries were displayed, my camera roll was all jumbled up. It grabbed all of the most recent (well, from ca. 3 weeks ago onward) photos and shoved them back toward the top of the library with photos from a year ago. It doesn't seem to have randomly jumbled everything up; it's just this chunk that got moved way back in the timeline. New photos still show up at the bottom of the list, but when you have as many photos as I do on this thing, to not have them chronological anymore is a PITA, to say the least.
I'm restoring now, though I doubt it will do any good as I'd synced after noticing the problem.
Xperia X10 :: Talktime Reduces Automatically On It?
May 1, 2011I got a Sony Xperia X10i and I don't have any internet plans with it. But on the phone screen, there is an "E" sign showing data transferred. Due to this, my talktime balance keeps on reducing steadily, every 10 minutes. I deactivated internet service from my service provider. None of the apps are open. Yet, for some reason that "E" symbol is still there and I'm losing talktime on my phone.
How do I remove that "E" symbol and do I need to do anything else to ensure I do not lose talktime balance?
HTC One M8 :: Hidden Files From SD Card Reduces Phone Memory
Jun 17, 2014I am using HTC M8 and my issue is with hiding video files. For hiding video files I am using gallery vault app. The problem is that I have a video file (wmv format) 1 gb in size on my SD card and when I try to hide the file using gallery vault or any other video hiding app the video file reduces phone memory. I was told that when a file in SD card is encrypted it is getting stored in the same destination (SD card). For eg. a file in SD would remain in SD even after hiding. So why does the files which are hidden is reducing my phones memory. I had the same problem with my S4 phone.

Jun 15, 2010Just last week I got myself a new nokia e72, the first day itself- i started experiencing problems-the thing started to reset itself numerous times. I decided to do a firmware upgrade and still NO CHANGE! The next day it started to spontaneously switch off without no reason. I completely formated both my memory card and phone memory and still the same problem! I gota say, it's a piece of junk! The thing resets itself and likes to off itself! Anybody experiencing similar problems? What a waste of money!

Sep 27, 2011Periodically, the phone will apparently be off for no reason - and will not respond in any way, not even to turn on with the power button. I have to pull the battery and replace it in order to power it up again. Most of the time, when I discover the phone off, the phone itself is very hot. I've noticed when pulling the battery, that the battery itself feels fine - warmer than usual, but not as hot as the phone itself.Also, most of the time, after I get the phone up and running again, it shows a very low charge on the battery (like 20% or so), even though it may have shown 80% hours earlier. This part doesn't happen every time - sometimes it comes back up still showing a good charge. But most of the time, it shows a low figure.

Jul 12, 2010I decided to replace the default wallpaper with something more appealing and so took a picture with the phone's camera and set it as the wallpaper. Later on, when I came to use the phone again I found it had reverted to the default wallpaper. The phone had not been switched off meantime. I reset the wallpaper again and, again, later on, I found it had reverted again. I store my camera images on the memory card (Sandisk 8GB) and have had no problems with any other data stored on the card. However, just in case the phone was having sporadic problems not being able instantly to read the card and so thinking it wasn't there, I copied the image to the phone's memory. I'm now waiting to see if it happens again. I can't upgrade the software to the latest release (R12) as I am on Tesco Mobile and their latest customised version of S60 is still based on R11.

Jun 14, 2011I want to like this phone so much but it keeps giving me problems. First, I am having the random reboot problem that is well documented on this and many other forums, so I won't go into that. One other thing that has been happening more frequently however is a problem with call volume. The phone will spontaneously stop using the earpiece for call audio and send the audio to the speakerphone on the back with the lowest volume setting. Adjusting the volume while in the call does not change anything, nor does turning on/off the speakerphone.This occurs during both in-coming and out-going calls. All other phone audio plays at normal volume levels, its just the audio during calls. It is extremely frustrating as the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone, so I have to hang up with whoever I am talking to and call back. Does anyone know any way to solve this problem? I'm hoping the pending Gingerbread update fixes these issues, but I am ready to return the phone and get something else if these aren't fixed.

Jul 27, 2010One thing I have noticed with my new iPhone 4 (and I am guessing it is an iOS 4.0 thing) is that my ring volume affects the alarm volume. On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.

Jun 27, 2012Every app I have that requires volume to listen works fine. But when I close the app, my ringer volume level is still in app mode volume. The app volume completely takes over my ringer volume level although in settings it never really changed. In order for me to get my ringer volume back to it's set volume, I have to go into settings and move the volume up or down. Then and only then do I have control over the ringer volume with the buttons on the side of the phone.

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?

I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue.
