Jun 6, 2012 I have been unable to send/receive SMS from some contacts, and sometimes goes through to their email on their iphone. Is there a simple solution?

BB Torch :: It Stop Receving Email
Jul 26, 2011For some reason my blackberry torch has stopped receiving emails. I have reset the phone and gone through the set up as usual but the email icon is not responding. I can click and highlight the icon but its not reponding.

May 29, 2010I've always wondered about this. Years and years ago, I could do this with my Sony Ericsson that I had at the time. I guess this has to do with SDK restrictions, but I thought I'd throw the question out there.
What I do currently is this: I type out a text in Notational Velocity/Justnotes. The text is immediately beamed into the cloud to Simplenote. I open the Simplenote app on my iPhone, copy the text I typed on my MBP, then paste it into the Messages app and send.

Jul 15, 2010Anyone else having this problem - since OS4, when I send a photo to another person, they will get the photo sent to them multiple times over the next few hours - sometimes 8 hours later. 3-4 times, but I only sent it once.

Mar 13, 2012I've been put in charge of setting up email on co-workers iphones.I just recently upgraded to iphone4 and had no problems getting mine set up (AT&T carrier). However, my co-works have switched carriers to Verizon(from AT&T) and I cannot get them to send emails. I've tried cwmx.com....no luck. I set up SMTP:outgoing.verizon.net and it then gave me message that server did not relay. I even set up an vzwmail account.I need to know what SMTP server to use!

Apr 2, 2012I text a lot with a certain person and starting yesterday, my texts have gone through fine, but it still says sending at the top of the conversation and it never goes away. I don't want to delete our conversation. It's only happening with the one person.

Apr 29, 2012I have used an iPhone 4 since October 2010. My wife followed suit in Dec 2011. We used iMessage as standard without any issues, but recently my iPhone was put in the wash by mistake, so while I'm waiting for the insurance to replace it, I am using my sim in an old Nokia (6230 or something). The thing is, now when she tries to send me an SMS messgage it won't come through to the Nokia. Other peoples make it OK, even from other iPhones. It says it sent as SMS on her phone too.it may be worth mentioning I switched to the Nokia the same day my iPad arrived, I was "playing", as you do, and tried to message my wife's iPhone from it as I was at home on my wifi network. This worked fine but not what I need, so I switched off iMessage on the iPad and now messages from her phone won't reach the Nokia

May 20, 2012one Message/iMessage conversation I have on my iPhone... So here is the deal. I have sent a few iMessages to a person but some of them have been sent as SMS text messages, probably because of bad network. Anyway, all of them have been read (that is what the read receipts account) and yet the line on the top of the screen says 'Sending...' ! But there is nothing to send anymore!
I've already tried quitting the app and turning my phone off/on and since I would like to keep that conversation, I'm not really keen on deleating it.

Later she texts me saying "thanks for sending that twice. two times just didn't get the message across." It was late and I didn't feel like answering. Today, I MMS my friend a screenshot. I see him get it seconds later. About three hours later, he receives it again! Has anybody else noticed this?

Mar 25, 2012I bought an iPhone 4s the day it was lunched and been using it ever since on a smartphone O2 tarif, everything worked fine until O2 did something on the 10th march 2012, ever since that day I can never send attachments on their network small or large. All fine on wifi.O2 tried everything, they are try to upgrade me to a limited data iPhone bolt on which is something I don't want because of the limitation.They now say it is apple that controls this and so here I am asking.I have been on O2 support lines for more than 6-7 hrs since the 14th march 2012, hitting a dead end!

IPhone :: IMessage Not Sending To One Person?
Apr 1, 2012iMessaging has been fine until this last week, and now, 75% of the time any imessages don't send to my girlfriend - they don't change to delivered either - they just sit there, in blue, but not sent or delivered.
We have both restored our phones and backed up from icloud - this didnt fix anything.
We both changed our imessage "recieved at" email addresses yesterday - to make our tests weren't sending from the old attached email account, I'd send a message to her, then get her to reply and vice versa - basically to make sure it was the newly setup email (as I believe there's a propogation period when adding a new email to imessage?) - either way, this didn't work.
I've tested via my ipad2 - shockingly enough, this didn't work.
