Aug 3, 2010I have an iPhone 4. Everytime I send an SMS from the program it closes off but it sends. Why does it automatically close off?

Sep 6, 2010i have BiteSMS version 4.98and it is almost un useable.. so before i remove it and go back to quickreply... i want to see if you have any ideas!
I have biteSMS version 4.98, and a replacment icon, that changes it to the stock messages icon, when i click on the bitesms icon to open up my messages, it pops up to a white screen (i see header with all the menu and compose button and edit button... but my messages list is blank then about 10-20 seconds later... it pops up and works ok, when i am txting someone, and i get a txt while typing it gets really laggy and slows for about 10 seconds then everything comes through (i hear the sound but get no message for about 10 seconds (sometimes it just crashes right back to home screen)

but I uninstalled the app and that fixed the fading issue (which only occurred in the messaging app). However, in biteSMS, 3 dots appear next to the texts that I send using biteSMS and its rather annoying. It only appears next to texts that I send using biteSMS, not Messaging

Aug 31, 2010I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem with biteSMS... when sending a txt message from my phones recent calls it will open the last person I sent a txt to instead of the number or contact I just clicked to send a txt too its really annoying and I keep finding myself almost sending a message to the wrong person.

Jun 5, 2014My iPhone 5S camera opens and closes immediately. My flashlight is no longer on my phone at all as a standard option (it's gone). I am only able to take forward-facing pictures through Instagram and Snapchat.
What I've tried so far -
1.)Regular Reset (erasing nothing),
2.) Restore (took everything off of my phone and then reloaded it by backup from iCloud). Â
I turn the phone on after both and my camera still opens and closes within 2 seconds.

LG V10 :: Stock Calendar Closes By Itself
Jan 10, 2016Have been happily using the LG V10 for about a week now (I'm a convert from Note 3, after seeing Samsung neglected we users and removed the SD card slot and removable battery). Phone has performed pretty flawlessly except for one curious thing: I expect any apps that I open will stay that way until I close them or do a 'clear all'. That has proven true so far for all apps except for the stock Calendar app! I can open it and view it, then go work with other apps or invoke the lock screen. When I unlock the phone, all the other running apps are still available, but the calendar app for some reason has been shut down and I have to reopen it. This is very curious, and I never had that issue on the Note 3.

Nokia :: Ovi Suite Closes Without Any Error
Apr 30, 2010I have an X6 and have installed ovi suite. It has worked fine for a couple of weeks and I have been able to succesfully transfer media such as pictures and music.
Now when I click to start up ovi suite it loads the first white page then closes without any error messages. The OVI icon on the bottom right taskbar disapears when I hover the mouse over it. It will not start. I'm getting really sick of this phone and the software.
Does anyone know why this problem is occuring? Every other device I connect regularly (such as ipod, sony ericsson and 2 external HDDs have not suddenly stopped working) so why has this cheapo Nokia suddenly become incompatible?

When I click the Store icon from the main menu, the Ovi Store starts and the close (the message says: closing ovi store). I didn't upgrade anything - the phone came with the latest FW version available. I have tried to reinstall Ovi Store, which is also the latest version, with no success. I have installed the last version from Nokia BetaLabs, but the problem still remains.

Jan 31, 2010I have been using Nokia Maps 3 (free edition) for a short while on my Nokia 5800 v40.0.005 and have been happy with the new route directions etc. Suddenly, they have stopped working. The menu loads, stays visibe but unresponsive for a short time then closes. There are no error messages. I tried uninstalling Maps on my phone and have just finished re-installing them but to no avail. Can't think of anything else I have changed but have I missed something? Thanks, Paul. BTW, the positioning software with GPS still works as does everything else on the phone that I can see.

May 8, 2012Well, the title explains the situation best. Many people have encountered this same problem and most of them had the problem solved with a few exceptions. I guess I fall in the exceptions category.
I bought a C5-03 last month. I am planning to visit the UK and my flight is tomorrow. So I downloaded the map the whole UK with voice files for female voice and with street names, just a few days ago. I didn't install any app since then and didn't even connect to the internet with the phone. I used the system for few hours in total and got acquainted. Last night, when I entered Ovi Maps, it just closed after 3~5 seconds, without giving any chance to select any menu or option.
I browsed for solutions on the net but none of them worked. So far I have tried formatting the memory card, restoring factory settings, reinstalling phone software through Nokia suite 3.4 but none of them seems to work. Someone claimed the problem to be solved through reinstalling the OVI Maps software, but I couldn't even find any entry for Ovi Maps on my phone, neither on applications manager nor with other uninstallers.
