May 20, 2012My iPhone is not playing sounds when I recieve email, iMessage, Whatssapp, watch videos or play music. It used to play the sounds until yestarday.If i put my headphones on I can hear everything but not without it. With no headphones it only play call sounds, voxer, and even I can talk. I checked the set up and it is correct.
When I press the volume button up or down it only shows the speaker image with the word "ringer" but no up and down volume bar under it. If i wear the headphones and I press the volume button the up and down volume bar shows up and work perfectly.

Sep 14, 2012I have Nokia 5800 phone and I've just bought a BH-108 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, when I connect the headset to my phone, I encounter a pretty much peculiar problem - the phone doesn't get any sound from the headset microphone. I can clearly hear anything through it, but the phone can't hear me, nor can the people when I call them. When I am calling, I can hear the person otherside, but they can't hear me. When I try to use a voice command the phone just doesn't get my voice and I get "no match found". I am sure that my headset works properly, because I gave it a try with few other Nokia phones and they got my voice normally.

Feb 21, 2011I am on the second c5-03, the first was replaced due to a speaker problem (not working)Now, on random moments there is no sound in microphone.i receive a call and i cant hear anything but the caller can hear me very good. I have to turn off the phone, remove the battery and reboot and its working again for a few days. then, its happening again because i cant anticipate when its ok and when it is stopped working again and again.i cant go to nokia service: they will say its working fine on sthe spot, i come home and no sound.

Apr 11, 2010I have nokia 5800 with latest firm ware v40, when i do call to somebody, i can hear the sound, but on the another side, cant hear me speak, he/she said my voice so slowly. i think in the first time is network problem, but change mobile phone, its okay.... so i think the problem is my nokia 5800, when i test with recorder application, i found that its very slowly, i try with the same voice and same volume with another phone, its good, so i think i have problem with my nokia 5800, especially with microphone. can somebody help me what to do? should replace firmware ? or this is hardware damage?

Also we want them to be somewhat slim and not bulky. I would think a silicon case would be better than a hard case in shock absorption but please correct me if I am wrong. My wife keeps her phone in her purse while I usually have it in my pocket. Are budget for both is $50 shipped. Do hard cases help absorb shock when you drop your phone? When I try to bring down the volume using the volume control switch on the side, the volume bar slides all the way to the very lowest and not in steps.I tried googling but I could not find anything.Can someone please suggest what to do?

It's a 2WIRE AT&T router for a DSL line. Do I need to set up something under DHCP or BootP or Static settings?
I no longer have the 3G network and I can get WiFi at all other WiFi spots except when a 2WIRE DSL box (router) is being used.

Mar 15, 2010I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?

Jun 23, 2010My old bb curve 8310 was sitting in my drawer since last september. I had upgraded to the 8900 september of 09, and I was just being noisy and pulled out the 8310 well I turned it on and it had the little 'x' in the top right corner, saying there was no service (yes my SIM was inside and placed correctly). So I took it out and put it back into my 8900 and all worked fine. But then the 8310 didn't even say 'SOS' in to top corner and there was no connections at all. I then replaced the antenna thinking that was the problem but apparently its not bc it still won't pick up a signal. Now it restarts every time I touch it.
