Yesterday i took a few pictures and wanted to upload it onto my Pc. It doesnot come up in my Images folder. The last folder that came up was 2011 folder and my 2012 folders for january and february isnot there. if i go to my galery, the images are there but not there when connected to the pc. Is there something wrong with any setting on my phone?
View 9 RepliesI discovered that when I click Media/Expore only the Device file folder displays. The Media file is gone. My camera had 400+ photos on it, and now it says only 16 pictures available, with 0 items in the Camera Pictures. Not only that, the flash is continually lit, and the device gets quite warm, and the battery runs low quickly. I had not recently done a back up, but when I did, it indicated that there were no photos to back up! There is no SD card installed, never had one. I have pulled the battery multiple times, even over night, and nothing is fixed. The camera was working the night before, and when I went to look at the pics the following morning, the flash light was on, and the file and all photos were gone!

The problem is that after I move photos from Neo to a PC, the numbering next photos does not continue, and start anew. I this way I lost a few photos while uploading files to PC. This name method is correct or not? Before SE Xperia I had Nokia smartphone, so it was add in the file name, except for the odered number, the date + time with seconds.

My phone was connected by usb I run Sony PC Companion, windows explorer started and it was writen that SD Card 708MB Free and 3.65GB full, but I double clicked SD card and there was only two files; "customized-capability" and "default-capability". I have checked win explorer Folder Options, hide, unhide selection, do not affect. I am sure that the files are in my phone, I have check from my phone.Now, I could not transfer my pictures, files, movies from my computer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy z2 has a camera problem. initially worked fine , then stopped taking photos - they show as broken files and can't be opened. I factory reset the phone and the camera worked for one day. it then stopped taking photos - when you take a pic, it shows the little orange circle going round and round , but then doesn't store the photo. Yesterday I cleared the cache and this appeared to make it work. The camera now takes photos, but I cannot message or bluetooth them - just says could not add item. I tried to transfer them to my computer , via usb and they all show as broken files , but with the .jpg extension , so not the lost.dir problem. Any better camera to download thru playstore that works well ...
View 9 Replies View RelatedI would just like to report that the Xperia mini pro (and possibly also Xperia mini) camera does not keep track of picture number in file names properly. It will keep track of the number as long as the user does not delete any pictures, but as soon the user deletes one/more/all pictures taken with the phone's camera, the camera system will "fill the numbering gaps" when new pictures are taken, instead of just continuing from the number of the last picture taken.

is there any way of selecting the file type that camera image files and video files are saved as? I know that the SGS2 supports various file formats, but I can't find anywhere that actually lets you select the format type. I've checked through the manual, Googled and searched various forums without luck.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden my phone won't take pictures anymore. Well, that's not true, it takes them fine, it just won't store them correctly. On the phone it will just show an icon of a broken picture and on the computer it complains the picture is corrupt. This problem came out of nowhere and I'm really confused. I did have over 500 pictures in the folder, they're gone now, but still the same problem.
Stranger is that if I move pictures to that folder that work in other folders, they'll show up at corrupted too.is this a familiar problem, anyone know what to do?
I am having an issue with my pictures which i take with my iphone. For some reason the phone is not naming the pictures. If i email or text a photo to someone they are all named photo.jpeg other iphones have a format like IMG00001 and IMG00002. When i try to send pictures to people they cant save the pictures since they are all named the same thing! (Just in case it matters i am using icloud with photo stream turned on)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been having real problems with the picture quality when you take pictures of documents. As I am a student, this is quite a big deal for me. Whenever I take pictures of like notes and stuff (in the document mode), the quality is great, but when it comes to zooming in, the pixels don't clear up at all, they remain blurry, so in the end the document mode is a complete useless tool! I have seen other phones like the Iphone 4 or the blackberry torch have great quality even when zoomed in, the pixels clear up. I thought sony was known for its camera!

Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
Recently the pictures taken using the iPhone's camera are not showing up on the camera roll. The iPhone 4 still has memory available, so I do not believe the issue to be related to too many pictures.

I got a blackberry torch 2 months ago at first it took pictures fine and it saved to the media folder. I do not have a memory card in the phone and there is no pictures on and only 9 songs so it cannot be the memory that is causing this problem.When I take a picture it shows at the bottom of the screen but it does not save to the phone as well as when I bluetooth music it downloads and shows download complete but when I check the music folder it does'nt appear.I have tried inserting a memory card but the items on the memory card does not appear on the phone.

Once I took the picture and swiped over to view it in the gallery I was given some message about a better shot being available...or something to that effect. I now have 2 pictures with the same file name, but one of them has _TOP at the end of the name. I thought it might have something to do with Google's auto-enhance feature since I have my pics auto-upload to Google, but only one of the pictures shows up in Google+ on the web, and in the Motorola Gallery. They both show up in the Photos app on my phone, and they both show up in OneDrive since I have them auto-upload there, too. Is it some sort of 'best shot' feature the camera is using? Google+? Photos app?
When I open my camera sometimes it shows that "camera not connected"...
