May 23, 2012Iphone 4 sound issue.On my iphone, after the upgrade to 5.1.1, the sound will only work through the phone speaker when it is ringing. All application sounds and notification sounds will not work through the iphone speaker.When a speaker or headphone is plugged in, all of the sounds will work.

Jun 3, 2012I washed my iphone 4 and had it replaced with iphone 4s. After 1 month of usage, the speakers now only work when the phone rings, using speaker phone, or Siri.No sound emits when using iTunes or playing movies, Netflix, etc. I plug in my earbuds and sound works for all apps and the sound bar at the bottom of the screen is visible - when I unplug the earbuds, the sound bar disappears.

Mar 13, 2012Everything functions fine on my iPhone 4 except the native phone app. I can dial out and answer calls. However, I cannot hear any sound coming out of the earpiece or speakerphone and the person on the other end of the line cannot hear me and the iPhone shows that we are connected. I use apps like Skype and Viber and I am able to make and receive phone calls fine. I can hear the caller and they can hear me. I restarted my iphone, I did a hard reset. I even backed up my iphone and restored it to default settings and the problem still persists.

Jan 5, 2010This is not the same problem as the earlier post today from the guy getting this message in error. I have a car hook-up that uses the dock connector into my CD changer and it works just great. It was originally for an older iPod so it doesn't charge my iPhone 3Gs but I'm OK with that.
Every time I plug in however I get "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone". I know it's not made to work with iPhone, I understand what it's telling me and I'm happy with that - is there some way to permanently dismiss this message?

Sep 13, 2013I've now bought two of the little cables that can supposedly connect my HTC One to my TV, and tried them on two different TVs with two different HDMI cables. Nothing works.
I note on a video on YouTube where someone's got this to work that there's a HDMI icon at the top of his screen. I don't ever get that. I do get a sort of rainbowy effect on my screen sometimes when things are connected up.

May 6, 2015I wanted to boost my audio on my lg while using headphones. I did some research and found out that you can boost audio by editing the code in the phone. So I did using a file manager I went into the mixer path.xml to edit some code. Once I had changed some values the phone lost all audio possible and some functions of the phone do not work.
I tried changing the code back and even re-setting the phone to factory settings and this did not work either. This also effects making calls as i can not hear the dial tone or voice coming through.
