Motorola Atrix 4G :: Music App Does Not Work In Landscape Mode
Dec 13, 2011The app works normally in portrait mode (showing artists or songs or whatever I choose) but when I flip it to landscape mode, it just shows the blank grey/blue screen that is the background on the music app home page (where you can choose now playing, library, internet radio, etc.) and it just sits there... doesn't load anything at all.
This is an exceptionally frustrating problem for me as I use my Atrix with an HD dock and the cardock (meaning I have to basically unmount my phone from the car dock to get a different artist. If I use the (useless) music launcher in the cardock home page, I can get to the now playing screen and pick the "smart DJ" button to get a new list of songs, but it'd be really nice if I could choose an artist I wanted to listen to (or a playlist, or a song for that matter) without having to take my phone out of the cardock, flip it to portrait mode, and then place it back in the cardock (quite dangerous while driving I might add)

I set up my hotmail on the phone and it was working fine. I then deleted that account but on the home screen am left with the subject line of the last message, but cannot get rid of it, or open it. When I select it, I simply go to the email options screen with sync, settings etc.How do I get rid of this and start again?Also, is it possible to set the phone up so that hotmail only displays on the 'personal mode' and that my work email only displays on the 'work mode'? If so, how do I go about it?
My work email (IMAP) I got all the settings and details from the IT department, and whatever I (or they) tried to do, simply wouldn't allow me to connect to my account and receive messages. Has anyone else had this? Is there some trick that I haven't been using?

May 15, 2011The version 3.1.1.21 for the BlackBerry App World is not working for my BlackBerry Pearlâ„¢ 3G 9105. The problem is that I cannnot fully access to the app, because it frozes! Furthermore (and consequently I think) my network does not work anymore. I mean that the browser web is ok (and I can surf, even if at low speed), but all the applications do not work properly. And even when I am trying to download the official app world (again) from the official site it won't work. To download 2MB it will take all night long! This is not possible. Another example: the maps are not working anymore and the roads appear after a long time. It is not a problem of the mobile carrier!!! What should I do? I am desperate because I cannot use my phone anymore! I also tried to return to the previous version of the app but the problem hasn't disappeared yet!
I tried to re-install the software (v. 6.0.0.668) but had the same problem. Then tried again and deleted the file "Device" from C/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader (not the "vendor" file because it does not exist). But anything happened! Thought it would have re-installed the previous version of the App World but it did not! I am really desperate because I do not know what to do.

In addition there's no message on the phone that the battery is charging.
