IPhone :: 3GS Tethered Unlock

3.1.2 3GS with 05.11.07 modem fw.I have it jailbreaked and the jailbreak DOES stay after a reboot (ie even after the phone dies and I recharge it, the jailbreak stays there).I want to sell this in anticipation for the 4, so can I also unlock it so it doesn't need to be re unlocked on reboot? I ran sn0w from blackra1n app and I think it unlocked because I saw an option to choose carrier in Settings. However, after a reboot that option went away. As you may understand, I have no way of testing this since I am on ATT. Thanks!

I searched on craigslist for a local guy to jailbreak my new one week old 3gs.. Found some dude about 2 miles away, so I drive over and had it jailbroken.I installed some apps, and one of them, I think WINTERBOARD made me roboot after installing.so I did.Now its stuck with the picture of the USB when I turned back on the IPHONE.Can someone please let me know how to get my phone back.I downloaded blackra1n on my macbook.

My toshiba laptop is running windows vista, and it actually says it's connected through wifi to the personal hotspot on my iPhone 4s, but I am unable to use the Internet at all. When connected via USB, I have no troubles whatsoever. When I check the different connections on the laptop, the USB connection says "local and Internet", while the wifi connection says "local" only. I'm sure this is an issue with the laptop, but I'm severely challenged when it comes to computers.

I was configuring bluetooth connection between my laptop and Torch 9800 and windows automatically configured my Torch as bluetooth modem and now I can use my Torch as a modem over bluetooth for internet access. This is a welcomed surprise as I was contemplating whether or not to spend 20 plus dollars to buy the tethered application but apparently there is this free option. This is probably not new to BB experts but I was so happy about this "new discovery" that I thought of sharing.

I am writing to find out if the USB connection can be used for the 8900 to access the internet ? I have no problems with using the modem feature to connect my laptop to the internet through the 8900. What I am wanting to accomplish is connect my Blackberry to a computer on my network and access the internet from the Blackberry through the network to surf and download apps etc.Is the router bypass on the device manager strictly for the enterprise server? or can COM ports be configured and the tether used? Where can I find more information on the communication protocols? I do not have nor do I anticipate requiring an enterprise level server, it is more than my business requires.

I've recently moved from Orange to O2 and my iPhone 3GS doesn't recognise the new O2 SIM card. Orange told me that they would send me an unlock code from Apple a month ago. Talked to Orange today and they say I need to get it from O2 but O2 say that's not the case.

My iphone4 had been allowed to unlock by AT&T but I still can't unlock by chinese sim card.More than three AT&T staffs told me than my iphone4 had been allowed to unlock and sent me instruction on how to unlock my iphone4.First,I had tried to put the AT&T sim card in the iphone4 for active the iphone,then I change the chinese sim card in the iphone4.but still fail.My iphone base-band is 02.10.04.Is question from it?

When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.

I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.

I have the 8 digit network unlock code for my Atrix2, but when new carrier sim card is inserted it doesn't say sim not provisioned, and doesn't provide text box to enter code.Instead it gives me phone and text service but not mms enternet

I lock my bb my pressing the top left keypad lock button but when I press it again to unlock it it won't unlock!! The only way to unlock is to take the battery out and put it back in! It only started doin this yesterday.

I am having issue where phone will not come out of lock screen. Buttons light but screen stays black. I can reboot and use phone so I know it is not hardware. I can still blindly touch screen and maybe get past lock but stays black til I reboot.

I was searching for topics related to this topic, describing the diference beetwen manufacture unlock vs bootloader unlock. I bought an unlocked Atrix in AT&T, so I could use it at any company or overseas. Is this mean the bootloader is also unlocked? Or these are diferent things?

i'm from Germany and i've bought a new Apple iPhone 4s from the Provider Orange from France. They told me there, that i can't use my iPhone with my German card because it have an simlock.When i pay Money, they can send the IMEI to Apple and i can unlock my iPhone. So i did. They said also, that i have to wait at least a week till ten days. So, thats the 15th day and i'm Angry that i cant put till now my card. How much i have to wait ??? i Cant wait anymore, i paid a lot of money with my trainee money. Sorry for my not perfect Englisch, but how i said, i'm from germany. ´

I remember my z2 was able to set the bluetooth unlock range between my phone and my smartband at android 4.4, but this function seen gone in android 5.1,i can unlock my phone in android 5.1 with any range just need the bluetooth connected.

my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?

i want to unlock my 3GS so i can sell it. I was wondering what the appropriate steps are to do this. I have a launch 3GS so it has the older bootrom (or whatever, haha).
1)unlock/jailbreak firmware 3.1.3 with sn0wbreeze
2)restore to unlocked firmware
3)do NOT restore any personal info
4)take out SIM card and sell?
is it as easy as that? i have never unlocked or jailbreaked my stuff, but i want to do it because it increases the market value of the phone apparently.

i've read that 3.1.2 on an iphone 3gs can be unlocked using blacksnow with the updated baseband 5.11.07.this Internet video shows it being done: if this is true, the 3.2.1 is unlock-able and usable for t-mobile.

i just bought a locked Iphone 3GS 3.1.3 bb 05.12.01 for cheap price from a friend who updated to 3.1.3 and failed to unlock it. so he sold it for chepar price and i thought that i can unlock this. and searched the net and got confused. some sites say its possible and some say its not. as its my 1st iphone , i am a bit noot about iphone. so could you experienced guys please tell me if its really possible to unlock 3.1.3 bb 05.12.01 or not? and it would be really appreciated if you could kindly guide me to sites which you use for unlocking, hacking iphone. i have been using android for last 6 months so hacking, updating isnt totally new thing to me.
