i've read that 3.1.2 on an iphone 3gs can be unlocked using blacksnow with the updated baseband 5.11.07.this Internet video shows it being done: if this is true, the 3.2.1 is unlock-able and usable for t-mobile.

When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.

3)do NOT restore any personal info
4)take out SIM card and sell?

I have an iphone which was bought from U.S on september 2010 by paying the non commitment price (around 600 USD). As of now, it has remained locked to the AT&T carrier and I am currently living in India. I just want to know if I would be eligiblle to get it unlocked through AT&T or will have to wait till the 2 years are completed. I have read online that it can be unlocked if the user had paid an early termination fee.Is this same as the non commitment price I paid?Also, how is it possible to contact AT&T support internationally? Would I be charged for the call? I have read that they take over half an hour to get your info processed. If so, I would want to know if I qualify for the unlock beforehand itself? And, is there any online webchat service available with AT&T?
