I've got a iPhone 3GS and i've got it for a while now and my warranty ran out. My problem is that when I turn my 3G on the phone just keeps searching for network. And when I turn off my 3G I have normal conection too 2G and I can call and text. I've already done a reset through the computer. I don't know what to do anymore..

My iPhone 4S has recently developed an issue where it can browse using safari and opera and download via the app store fine on 3G or any cellular data network, but not on wifi. It finds and connects to wifi networks but does nothing with them. It is most annoying as it is proving to be rapidly costly and a pain to use now.
I've tried the reset, forget this network, phone off and on, reset the router etc, all other phones and devices fine except this iPhone.

I recently dropped my White Iphone 4s down a toilet on a night out!!! I quickly picked it up and took it home and dryed in off and placed it in a bowl of rice and a few days later everything was fine and working just like normal apart from some water under the screen. Also the Wi-Fi option on my iphone just isn't displayed and greyed out.
I have also recently updated the software on the phone to the new 5.1.1 which i have seen there has been problems with about the wi-fi dropping and not being displayed. I would just like some advice if anyone else has had this problem and if which i think it probably is, the hardware has become loose inside the phone and its not the software.

I recently went back to my old iPhone after much frustration with another smartphone product that I wont mention here. I updated the phone to 5.1.1 as reccomended by iTunes and started setting up mail etc and everything worked as expected. But then I noticed that push was not working whenever I have 2G/3G data enabled. If I have WiFi only enabled, push comes in fast and works great. If I have 2G/3G data only, or 2G/3G data + WiFi, I never receive push notifications, not even if I go into the individual apps first as some people suggest.
It just so happens that I work for a major Canadian Wireless carrier and I have access to some pretty cool tools that enable me to see packet data coming from the device going towards the internet. What I can see here is that the device does NOT initiate any connection to the nn-courier.push.apple.com servers on port 5223, ie. this is some kind of device issue. There isnt even a DNS request or anything to indicate the device is interested in making the connection at all. On my WiFi network, a DNS request and the connection to the push server is made immediately when WiFi comes up.

I have a Linxys router that works fine with my PC, Xbox, ipad, google chrome and Television. For some reason mine and my wife's iphone 4s iOS 7.1.1 will not connect all of the time. It either will tell me, "unable to connect" or it will connect to the wifi but internet will not work on the phones. This always happens in the evening. The phones will work sometimes during the day. I have logged into the router and there are no other devices connected to the wireless other than the ones that I have in my house. I also have a "guest network" that has always been turned off. All of my other devices always work while the iphones won't connect.Â

My screen works perfectly but the top of it doesn't work when I tap. I downloaded a multitouch app. And I found that the swipe works perfectly if I came from the bottom. So I think that it is a software problem. Some permanent solution? Rebooting the phone solves the problem for a while.

Just got this phone a few days ago and I'm having a few issues with it. I have noticed that Pandora will stream only when I connect to wifi. When I am on LTE, it keeps trying to load a song and then immediately skips to the next one, but is never able to load it. During this time, if I turn on wifi the app immediately starts playing. I noticed that this is not a network issue since I am still able to access email, browsing, etc when on LTE - just not stream music.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

Its a security camera app which when I install on it on an iphone it works over 3G no problem but not on the blackberry. Is there something I should be looking at ? I-heart radio will work as does Amazon music. This started about 1 month ago before that all was fine. I have reset to factory setup so even with a clean phone it will not work. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. I am able to browse the internet and everything else but my email will not sync. I have tried changing my email connection to use, GoRogers, Rogers Media and Rogers Internet. Gorogers and Rogers Media connect but they don't sync. Rogers Internet does not connect at all with any app I use. I use gmail btw. I live in Onatrio Canada if that helps any. I am really really frustrated with this as I got a data plan mainly for email.

It also disturbs other devices (PC, Playstation, etc.), which are then work very slowly.
