Huawei Nexus 6P :: Navbar To Match Status Bar?
Dec 10, 2015Are there any mods that allow it? There were a few that don't work with MM so I am looking for an alternative.Would be nice if Google defaulted to that instead of the solid black bar. I can do it from within my music player app. It just fills the screen more and makes it look classier in my opinion.I'd even go for an almost transparent navbar as well.

Nov 8, 2015I am loving my 6P, but I almost drop it all the time trying to reach across the screen and hit the back button while holding the phone one handed.
I think this wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem if I could move the back button to the far right position (this is where I had it on my G3 and it was soo much more comfortable to use).
Are there any root/non-root/modifications I can use to rearrange the buttons?
I have the bootloader unlocked and would happily root if it would enable the ability to move the buttons
I know Xposed add-ons will add this functionality eventually, but that could be at least a few weeks/months away.

Dec 19, 2015I got my Nexus 6P in australia yesterday and I was playing around with the settings. One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.

Oct 30, 2015New Nexus 6p, latest OTA upgrade. Tried saving a file from an email attachment on Gmail app, the system asked me if I wanted to allow storage access permissions, I said yes, and another popup message said:
Screen overlay detected
To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps
When I go to these settings it shows the setting (YES or No) for each individual app. Gmail wasn't in the list of apps.

Nov 20, 2013I'd love to enable the diagnostic mode in my Nexus 5 so that I can trace the radio interface with software such as QXDM, X-CAL, etc... but I've had no luck so far.
basically I'm trying to change the variable sys.usb.config to [diag,adb] as shown in this post for the Nexus 4. I'm doing:
(if you run getprop you see that the correct order is sys.usb, not usb.sys as shown in that post)
However, when I enter this command the phone automatically reboots... and the value is reverted back to [mtp,adb].
Do you know of any 'friendlier' way to enable diag mode on the Nexus 5? For example, in the Galaxy S4 you can just dial *#0808# to get into the USB config menu, which easily allows you choose the DM mode... but I can't find a similar menu on the Nexus 5.
Seems a bit absurd to me that a developer-oriented phone is the hardest one to put in diag mode... I am rooted...

Sep 25, 2015I've been using my phone tonight and the apps were as normal where I scrolled left and right for the apps. I placed it on charge and when taking it off I went back into the app menu for something and noticed that I had a search bar at the top and had to scroll up and down. Its also seems to have kept my last 4 used apps in a separate drawer at the top.
