View 2 RepliesThe phone vibrates pretty strong when you double tap to Power to launch the camera. I don't see any option in settings to adjust vibration Intensity. Just wish I could turn off the vibration.

View 8 Replies View RelatedJust noticed last night. If I brush my fingertips over the top of the phone near the camera there's a very faint vibration when on charge. To be fair its very hard to detect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got my 6P for a month and a half now and sometimes it seems that the vibration strength becomes weaker. Right now it's one of those times and I'm only seem to be feeling it vibrate in the middle left. How many vibration motors does the phone have? If I'm holding the phone with my right hand only when this is happening, I almost can't feel it vibrate. I'm wondering if it's only me or if in fact there's an issue with the vibration motor.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Nexus 6P in australia yesterday and I was playing around with the settings. One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI"m using Pure Nexus and it allows me to set custom LED notification colors. I'm swiping all over the place and can not get the LED notification to turn green, the closest it gets is blue or yellow, no green in between. Any working HEX code for green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way, play store app or xposed module to set the silent mode? We've only vibration mode but I'd like to set phone silent without tones, vibration and with all notifications enabled.

View 2 Replies View RelatedStock rom, not rooted nexus 6p
All i want to know is there a way to make the restart button show up instead just power off when i press the power button? Don't wanna root this phone yet....
I pay for unlimited data through sprint, but this does not include tethering. On the custom roms I've used, it's always worked out of the box, but now that I'm on a stock rom, I get a 'your device does not support this service' message. What's the tweak the custom roms are using to bypass this? I've searched like crazy, and the only thing I've found is an instruction to modify a line that my build.prop doesn't have
View 2 Replies View RelatedNew Nexus 6p, latest OTA upgrade. Tried saving a file from an email attachment on Gmail app, the system asked me if I wanted to allow storage access permissions, I said yes, and another popup message said:
Screen overlay detected
To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps
When I go to these settings it shows the setting (YES or No) for each individual app. Gmail wasn't in the list of apps.
Is there a way to enable the hidden native "Call Recording" feature on my 6P?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI won a Nexus 6P at work but I have a device locked message when trying to enable USB debugging. Seems I have a demo handset but how I remove it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't like the eye popping colors of amoled screen on my 6P. sRGB enabled in developer options makes it look better in my eyes as a amatuer pornographer. However, it doesn't stick and needs to be re-enable on each boot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes your Nexus 6P have an option to enable video stabilization on camera setting? My friend has the option on his Nexus 6p but mine hasn't. We got exactly same model.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo, the 6P is a sodding big phone and I have fairly small hands.
Switching on to an unlocked state using the fingerprint reader is easy. Switching off requires the power button, which means wrestling the damn thing into a position where I can press the button.
I've looked at a few apps that switch off the screen with a shake or gesture, but these always result in a pattern request to unlock fully when turning back on with the fingerprint reader. Looking at this thread, it seems the Nova Launcher double-tap off function results in the same secondary security challenge when switching back on.
I assume this is because the third-party double-tap/shake/gesture event is only turning the screen off, not actually locking the device as the power button would.
Was just wondering, is it even possible to modify the behavior of the power/volume buttons? It's a bit sensitive and imo placed in an odd spot.
It would be great if there was a way to modify it such as :
power button - either disable it, x clicks to turn screen on/off or a long press to turn on/off with a longer press to power down... just examples
volume rocker - disable
Having issue when pressing the power button, the lockscreen will come back on for about 3 seconds and then turn off again. I can't figure out what is causing this to happen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running stock 6.0.1 rooted with Xposed (only using gravitybox). When I do the double tap on power to launch the camera, nothing happens other than the power button functioning normally. It did work at one point but I'm not sure if it was an app, Xposed or a system setting which stopped this feature from working. I tried disabling Gravitybox but left Xposed itself still installed. I've also tried changing the "Power buttons locks instantly" setting under Security but that didn't make any difference either.

After which, it restarts again and again, signal lost and reintall again the 2.1 update. But this time, after i press the power button , the vibration never stops... it never started up.
