Just noticed last night. If I brush my fingertips over the top of the phone near the camera there's a very faint vibration when on charge. To be fair its very hard to detect.
View 3 RepliesI've got my 6P for a month and a half now and sometimes it seems that the vibration strength becomes weaker. Right now it's one of those times and I'm only seem to be feeling it vibrate in the middle left. How many vibration motors does the phone have? If I'm holding the phone with my right hand only when this is happening, I almost can't feel it vibrate. I'm wondering if it's only me or if in fact there's an issue with the vibration motor.

My brother just got his in today and it's dark so I'm just curious if it's an issue or that's just how it is stock. If it's normal I'm gonna have him use lightflow to activate so that's not a problem.

I noticed that on my Moto X Pure (Style) before and also now on my Nexus 6P that whenever I charged it to 100% it won't say "Full" but instead "Charging on AC" still. On my Moto X before, the "Full" message will be displayed after 30 mins or so. However on my Nexus 6P now, it will take more than an hour for it to say "Full".
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I first noticed this bug while trying to charge my phone from one of the USB ports on my computer, while the phone is off. It constantly connects and disconnects to the computer (as indicated by the sounds Windows makes) and the battery icon that flashes while the phone is off and charging keeps coming on and off. Not a major bug, but quite annoying if you have the phone connected while it's off.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro, btw.
My Nexus 5 was working fine, and hasn't been dropped/damaged, but the screen has suddenly gone green and very faint. It still works but I can't figure out what the issue is. My guess is hardware?
When I say green and faint, I don't mean just a little bit, I mean a green/yellow hue all over the screen, and faint like someone has applied super high contrast in a photo editor.
Phone is stock, not rooted or modified in any way.
I currently have the SE Satio & my phone is "on silent" at all times as I rely on being alerted by the phone's vibration. However, the phone does not vibrate when I receive a message or a call while the re-charging cable is attached.
This is extremely inconvenient as I have to change the phone "profiles" manually all the time otherwise the phone could be ringing for hours & I would not notice.
Having issues with their Nexus 5 not charging, or at the very least charging super slowly?
Mine has been plugged in for about 3 hours and only charged up about 10%. Could it be a teething issue (it's the first charge out of the box) or something worth contacting Google about?
I bought a Nexus 5 at the weekend and I can't stop it from vibrating when a call or SMS comes in. I have a vibrate off in settings > sound > call and ringtone vibrate and also in Hangout settings but it vibrates anyway.
I've posted screen shots below showing my settings. Regardless of this it's vibrating anyway.
So realistically speaking, by turning off the vibration haptic feedback on the phone, and the Google keyboard, does that really Save a substantial amount of battery power?most people say yes. Just out of curiosity.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 5 won't charge - the battery is showing a lightening strike *as though* it is charging, but when you go into the battery screen, it says "not charging".
When you first plug it in (if in the battery screen) it will go from "AC Charging" to "not charging" although nothing has changed.
Under Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.
Is there anyway to make a vibration pattern for texts or calls?

Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.
