I bought my Galaxy S5 a month ago, and at first I paired my phone in my car and was able to use the hands-free and play music. Last evening while a song was playing the phone lost the bluetooth connection with the car.
I tried several times to re-connect, but not able to establish the connection back.
I tried to delete all previous listed phones/names, but that has not worked either.
Need to transfer all contacts from my various WM phones so as to consolidate info;

View 1 Replies View Related1. power up both phones and make sure bluetooth is turned on in each phone
2. pair the phones (you have to put one of the phones in discoverable mode)
3. find the menu choice (usually in the bluetooth section) on the old phone that says something like "Send Name Card" or "Send Phonebook" or "Send Contact List" - (you may need to acknowledge or OK the transfer on the new phone)
4. Your full phonebook/contact list will be automagically be sent via bluetooth between the two phones in a very short time (I transferred 306 contacts in 4 minutes)
5. Pour yourself a shot of a truly great tequila (such as Don Julio Blanco) to celebrate your success!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a Samsung Entro with over 250 contacts and recently switched to a Curve 8530. I am trying to transfer my contact list from the Entro to the BB. I tried pairing the devices and was successful but when I tried the transfer with the BB, I can only transfer one contact and it keeps transferring the same one. Does anyone know how to transfer all the contacts at once?

I keep getting stuck on downloading please wait. I have followed the instructions in the Yada manual, and there was no help in the Samsung manual. The device will answer the phone but there is no way I can voice dial from it. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do this. Any help would be appreciated or the Yada goes back to the store where I bought it. With hands free being the law starting Monday in Ontario I would sure like to get it working.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a user who has been using an iPhone 4 for over a year now, and has built up a large list of Contacts on the device. Unfortunately, unlike every other iPhone user, his Contacts have not been sync'ing with Outlook. I know I can go into "Settings", "Mail, Contacts, Calendar", Contacts and "Default Account" and change it here. However, I do not want to lose any of these iPhone Contacts. I would like to be able to back them up, and then sync them into Outlook.

i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?

I am sure that this information is probably posted somewhere in these forums, but Ive tried 5-6 different searches and cant find what I need to know, so thought I'd try a post. I only want to transfer a portion of the contacts in my Outlook 2007 address book over to my BB, and keep those contacts through each synchronization (dont want to synchronize and have them all show up).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a weird problem in my Galaxy SII. Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.

I have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.

Context:I have 2 primary sources of contact information on my blackberry, my personal (gmail contacts) and my work contacts (via google apps). I would like to keep these contact lists separate and apart from one another, but accessible if required. However, as this device is primarily for work, I'd like to not have my personal contacts appearing every time i open the Contacts app. The effect I am trying to achieve is after opening contacts --> click menu --> click "Select Contact List..." --> and choosing one.Is there a way to save this as a preference/default so I don't have to filter each time i open my contact list?
