View 1 RepliesI have a new BB9790 and cannot transfer my contacts list from my BB9900. I have tried to restore through my desktop but it does not work.
When I try to restore data from backup data on my desktop the only data it restores is my email, but none of my contacts
I have 2 contact lists on my 9900. Both with the same name, one will all my contacts in and one with only 36 in. I want to remove the small one as that is the one synching with Outlook, not the big one.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi got a new Blackberry Bold 9900 from Wind Mobile. It comes with call displays but whenever someone calls me and I have their number saved into my contact list their name wont show up. So I don't know who is calling me even though I have their number saved into my phone. Sometimes it shows up and sometime it doesn't (same people). I tried adding +1 or removing +1 infront of the number but that does nothing.

View 1 Replies View Related1. power up both phones and make sure bluetooth is turned on in each phone
2. pair the phones (you have to put one of the phones in discoverable mode)
3. find the menu choice (usually in the bluetooth section) on the old phone that says something like "Send Name Card" or "Send Phonebook" or "Send Contact List" - (you may need to acknowledge or OK the transfer on the new phone)
4. Your full phonebook/contact list will be automagically be sent via bluetooth between the two phones in a very short time (I transferred 306 contacts in 4 minutes)
5. Pour yourself a shot of a truly great tequila (such as Don Julio Blanco) to celebrate your success!

I keep getting stuck on downloading please wait. I have followed the instructions in the Yada manual, and there was no help in the Samsung manual. The device will answer the phone but there is no way I can voice dial from it. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do this. Any help would be appreciated or the Yada goes back to the store where I bought it. With hands free being the law starting Monday in Ontario I would sure like to get it working.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Blackberry Bold 9650. Since my old phone was so old, the contact list couldn't be transferred. I spent hours and hours putting all of my numbers in by hand and all was well. After I did that, I added my Yahoo email account to the phone. Now the phone numbers I hand puched are gone and all of the contacts are from the email account. My call log lists the names of the people who have called me, so I know the info is somewhere on the phone but I can't find it. I even deleted the email account, but the Yahoo cantacts are still there and the others are still not.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSomehow when I sync my Bold 9700 to my Outlook for Mac (which is linked to my Google mail account), the contacts in my device are duplicated as part of a Contact List that I never created. What's even weirder is that the name of that contact list is named with another email address, which was once from one of my contacts. Confusing?
Anyway, I cannot find anywhere in Outlook or Google, or on my device, an option to remove the bogus contact list.
