Mar 23, 2012There is one person in my contacts that I cannot text. It always comes up with a red x and says "Short message transfer rejected". The person can still text me, though, and I have no trouble calling the number. It only happens with this contact.I have tried deleting the contact and re-adding, taking out the battery and sim card, but it doesn't work.

Jun 17, 2011I have recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8520.My problem is connecting to yahoo calendar/ task list/memo pad/ address book.Each time I try to synchronize I get back the message "connection to the yahoo server was lost".I am using the latest version of the yahoo and blackberry software. I am sure I am not the only user trying to sync PC and Blackberry information.

Several internet searches suggest setting the music player to never auto end in the task manager on the Droid X. Only problem is I cannot find where the "pre-installed" task manager app is located to check the auto-end list. Mar 30, 2010I am currently doing a backup and restore on my Windows 7 Laptop (see other thread i started for reason.The tasks have been running fine, until the restoring process/task where it is currently on Task 12/12. However, the task seems to have not made any further progress after approximately 55% of the overall restore process, and 80% of Database: BBGroups. there is no option to cancel (its greyed out) and the yellow bar at the top is telling me not to disconnect the device as the device/data may become unusable if disconnected before the process finishes.
The overall process was quick (approx 15 minutes) until the above it's taken over an hour now and it doesnt seem like it will ever finish.

2. pair the phones (you have to put one of the phones in discoverable mode)
3. find the menu choice (usually in the bluetooth section) on the old phone that says something like "Send Name Card" or "Send Phonebook" or "Send Contact List" - (you may need to acknowledge or OK the transfer on the new phone)
4. Your full phonebook/contact list will be automagically be sent via bluetooth between the two phones in a very short time (I transferred 306 contacts in 4 minutes)
