I had a Samsung Entro with over 250 contacts and recently switched to a Curve 8530. I am trying to transfer my contact list from the Entro to the BB. I tried pairing the devices and was successful but when I tried the transfer with the BB, I can only transfer one contact and it keeps transferring the same one. Does anyone know how to transfer all the contacts at once?
View 7 Replies1. power up both phones and make sure bluetooth is turned on in each phone
2. pair the phones (you have to put one of the phones in discoverable mode)
3. find the menu choice (usually in the bluetooth section) on the old phone that says something like "Send Name Card" or "Send Phonebook" or "Send Contact List" - (you may need to acknowledge or OK the transfer on the new phone)
4. Your full phonebook/contact list will be automagically be sent via bluetooth between the two phones in a very short time (I transferred 306 contacts in 4 minutes)
5. Pour yourself a shot of a truly great tequila (such as Don Julio Blanco) to celebrate your success!
I have a M540 and I am trying to transfer my contact list to a Yada YD-V22 hands free device. No matter what I have tried I haven't been able to do it. I keep getting stuck on downloading please wait. I have followed the instructions in the Yada manual, and there was no help in the Samsung manual. The device will answer the phone but there is no way I can voice dial from it. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do this. Any help would be appreciated or the Yada goes back to the store where I bought it. With hands free being the law starting Monday in Ontario I would sure like to get it working.

Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe phone is stuck with "Silence all" on the screen at all times.It's not usable and I cannot make any calls, answer calls or send text messages.The menus also are not accessible as I thought about trying to do a standard or hard reset.I have tried using the volume button to cycle out of'Silence All", then "Vibrate All" shows but it automatically goes back to and stays on "Silence All".I even tried holding the FN-# key and the * key to see if it comes out it but it does not.
I have also tried removing the battery several times but it does not help.anyone have any ideas of how I can get it out of this mode or is the phone toast?

I cannot transfer my phone's Contact list either automatically or manually from my Atrix 2 to my new Toyota Camry. Any chance Motorola has a patch or software update in the works? FYI, my wife's older cellphone will allow manual transfers to the Contact list so I know its not the car's problem.
