Samsung :: Samsung Entro SPH-M350 'Silence All"
Aug 18, 2012The phone is stuck with "Silence all" on the screen at all times.It's not usable and I cannot make any calls, answer calls or send text messages.The menus also are not accessible as I thought about trying to do a standard or hard reset.I have tried using the volume button to cycle out of'Silence All", then "Vibrate All" shows but it automatically goes back to and stays on "Silence All".I even tried holding the FN-# key and the * key to see if it comes out it but it does not.
I have also tried removing the battery several times but it does not help.anyone have any ideas of how I can get it out of this mode or is the phone toast?

Nov 13, 2011How do I change the Opera Mini browser's default home page? If you have the Samsung Convoy 2 you have probably noticed that the default shortcut assigned to the left side of the directional pad is to the Opera Mini browser. So far so good, I like that. It opens immediately. But it happens to go to a pre-assigned webpage, the My Verizon Account sign in, and throws up a security form that I have to click past - every time! I called Verizon tech support, they had a handset on hand and confirmed the behavior and the presumed irritation of their user base. But all they could do was to point me toward Samsung and said if the manufacturer gets enough complaints they might change it. May 30, 2012I had a Samsung Entro with over 250 contacts and recently switched to a Curve 8530. I am trying to transfer my contact list from the Entro to the BB. I tried pairing the devices and was successful but when I tried the transfer with the BB, I can only transfer one contact and it keeps transferring the same one. Does anyone know how to transfer all the contacts at once?

Jul 16, 2012I have disabled "packet data" ( whatever that means?) as I was told to, to disable the phones internet connection via the network. ( if I want to go online I connect via wifi) But... now heres the thing, IF Im out & about & there is no wifi available, if I try & open Opera mini, it connects! Obviously this is thru my supposedly disabled network! How can this be? AND more importantly, how can I turn off all instances of the phone connecting in this way?Can I ask my provider ( Orange) to completely disable it at their end?

I have put information about APN adress under TCP. i have downloaded Opera mini and put both files in a sparate file on my Mac. I have downloaded the latest desktop manager for mac. I attached the phone to the computer and opened desktop manager and Applications. I added the alx file and clicked installed and got no error message. But no Opera was installed on the phone. Now when I go into desktop manager and Applications. Opera Mini is in the list there, but when I check the box (to try to oress start again) it says that thare is not enough memory and that I should delete some files. I deleted GPS logger and facebook, but still the same message. Available file free is 20569300 Bytes.

Iv tried going to the download link which then asks where to download the file to, by defaut the "documents" folder for download destination came up so i went with that and then it downloaded the file to that destination. I then went to install the Opera mini file and cant get it to install, when i click on the file it asks which application i would like to open it with, thats as far as i get coz theres no suitable application to open it with. Jun 11, 2010I have Opera Mini 5 on my Blackberry right now and it works great. It's just the fact that I can't set a homepage bothers me a little. Also, the mouse seems to be a little slow (maybe incompatible with the trackpad?) and that annoys. Would Mini 4 be any better? It's a lot faster than the default for sure.
