i had an HTC One XL and loved swiping to delete my emails (im using exchange, not gmail). But now the swiping just moves me to different tabs, eve when i turn off the tabs i cant seem to swipe to delete.

I'm mute & 1 handed, so i talk with my phone.. It isn't fun having to sit there pressing backspace 9x instead of 1x then just reswyping. I like the in-house keyboard because of the 1 handed option- it is very nice.. but, if this can't be done with the stock keyboard, I guess I'll have to use the full size google kb...
In gmail on iphone, the swipe delete option not available. Only archive is shown. How do I change this?

I'm trying to clean up that free U2 album, and I've nearly gotten it. However, there are two tracks of the album remaining on my iPhone 5. I'm trying to swipe to delete, and it just plays the song. Annoying. I've managed to hide the album in iTunes, but I'd sure like to get these tracks out as I often listen to all my songs on shuffle and U2 is a band that just doesn't do anything for me. I do not have iTunes Match.

When you view your email through the preinstalled apps, either Hotmail or Google. When you viewed them and deleted them then return to your email on a PC/Desktop the emails you've deleted are still there?

Why doesn't Apple in its infinite wisdom have a way of deleting all emails at once from the inbox instead of requiring iphone users to tediously check each email after tapping edit and then deleting emails in bunches or singly.

When i delete an email on my blackberry in my gmail account - it does not matter whether i choose 'on mailbox and handheld' or 'on handheld' - the email does not delete itself. It is still sitting there in my list of emails but now it says (0 Items) in the header and has one of the gold stars next to it (the kind you usually select to add when an email is important) and i can no longer open the email.I have tried everything in the options menu including:-Trying to delete the message again- Remove star- Move to inbox-Reconcile nowbut nothing happens. No problems for two previous years and no problem with the business emails under separate name. Have verified they are not saved. Have tried usual processes, one by one delete, all prior delete, etc. Can delete on computer, but still appear on the Blackberry. (Tour 9630/no new apps or downloads during this time/ pretty basic phone and email usage, and no prior problems relating to this issue.) Have already checked prior entries on this forum. Either not applicable, or had no impact on the problem.

If I delete them on the phone, they reappear there later! The same messages do not appear anywhere else when I access my Exchange account (Outlook, iPad, etc.) So, it is definitely something specific to the phone's e-mail app. (I've used three previous Samsung phones without this issue.)
