I have two email accounts and I want to disable one temporarily to stop emails arriving. I can't find any way to do that.Also one has accumulated many emails - is there a way to delete all or some emails in one operation rather than one by one?

When I delete an e-mail, nothing happens, I scroll do wn and the icon changes to an opened envelope and greys out but the top line states:(0 items)But it will not disappear. I am having two issues on my blackberry curve......I have three e-mails of my phone that I cannot delete....they are from my google account and have tried a hard reset several times and have made sure they are deleted from my actual gmail account with no luck. When i delete an email on my blackberry in my gmail account - it does not matter whether i choose 'on mailbox and handheld' or 'on handheld' - the email does not delete itself. It is still sitting there in my list of emails but now it says (0 Items) in the header and has one of the gold stars next to it (the kind you usually select to add when an email is important) and i can no longer open the email.I have tried everything in the options menu including:-Trying to delete the message again- Remove star- Move to inbox-Reconcile nowbut nothing happens. No problems for two previous years and no problem with the business emails under separate name. Have verified they are not saved. Have tried usual processes, one by one delete, all prior delete, etc. Can delete on computer, but still appear on the Blackberry. (Tour 9630/no new apps or downloads during this time/ pretty basic phone and email usage, and no prior problems relating to this issue.) Have already checked prior entries on this forum. Either not applicable, or had no impact on the problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using my S6 edge with a hosted Exchange account and the default Samsung e-mail app. I have a number of e-mails (currently, 14) in my in-box that will not be deleted on my phone. If I delete them on the phone, they reappear there later! The same messages do not appear anywhere else when I access my Exchange account (Outlook, iPad, etc.) So, it is definitely something specific to the phone's e-mail app. (I've used three previous Samsung phones without this issue.)
