My Xperia X10 is updated to Android 2.3.3 and l did'nt notice that it automatically connected to my email account. I now have over 1000 emails in my inbox.I cannot find a way of multi selecting them to delete on block. Is it possible or do l have to delete one by one.
Will the reboot or factory reset delete the Android system on my phone.i'm facing touch, heat, and automatic frequent lighting problems. thus, i want to see if any reboot works.
I am using the Xperia Mini Pro and don't know how to delete all emails in my email client inbox at once. Is there any option to select all emails rather than having to select them one by one and then deleting everything at the same time?
When I try to delete more than 4 e-mails in one go from the trash folder on my Sony Xperia Z2, the e-mail software crashes with the message: 'Unfortunately, E-mail has stopped'.
I would like to know if or how to delete mulitple emails from my inbox rather than having to delete individually from my inbox, and then having to repeat a second time from my trash can?I currently am using the standard email app, which I have linked to my hotmail account. Although I prefer how deleting emails on my handset is not synced to my hotmail account (which is useful for emails I wish to later preserve on my laptop archive).
I am bemused as to why such a standardised function is missing (unless of course I have missed a trick). The time it takes to individually delete unnecessary emails completely from my handset is ridiculous, especially when attempting to empty the trash can (which I have never completely finished due time and patience).
When you view your email through the preinstalled apps, either Hotmail or Google. When you viewed them and deleted them then return to your email on a PC/Desktop the emails you've deleted are still there?
i am looking for a email app that is way better then the default one..i would like multiple syncs with my many emails and easy delete folders buttons instead of the default one by one delete.

I just got a Nexus 6 running Android 5.1.1 Today I added my personal email account and my work email account to the phone. When I tried to remove my work email account, the option to remove is not there. I've gone into accounts and selected the account that I want to remove and the option is just not there. The same for my personal account too. How can I remove this email account from my phone?
I am trying to extend battery life and kill some native apps. One that shows as a big battery drain is Geo News but I can't find the app to uninstall it. When I go to the Play Store it only gives me the option to install it. This is on my Galaxy S5 which I've had since November and the last couple of weeks I've been going through the battery huge. Trying to follow all the advice here to delete and disable, but so far not terribly successful.
Jaz sem nastavil v moji nokia v e-amil odjemalca račun od gmaila. Zdaj bi rad telefon oddal in ne morem izbrisat e-mailov iz nokie. Ni celi e-amil ampak so ostale glave e-mailov. In zmeraj koizbrisat javi, da bo ostalo shranjeno v pomnilniku telefona. Kako bi lahko to odstranil?

Before I start, let me express my disappointment with the new, all black Howard forums. On my iphone 3gs I installed os4. Now i cannot delete emails anymore, just "archive". Am I missing something? Why is this?

Why doesn't Apple in its infinite wisdom have a way of deleting all emails at once from the inbox instead of requiring iphone users to tediously check each email after tapping edit and then deleting emails in bunches or singly.
When i delete an email on my blackberry in my gmail account - it does not matter whether i choose 'on mailbox and handheld' or 'on handheld' - the email does not delete itself. It is still sitting there in my list of emails but now it says (0 Items) in the header and has one of the gold stars next to it (the kind you usually select to add when an email is important) and i can no longer open the email.I have tried everything in the options menu including:-Trying to delete the message again- Remove star- Move to inbox-Reconcile nowbut nothing happens. I even deleted this email address off of my blackberry and re-added it and still nothing

I have my AOL email account set up on my iPhone 4, and I get duplicates of every email that I receive. So when I open my email there is 2 of every one listed, and when I delete them I have to delete both of them.
I would like to know how I can delete emails from both my Blackberry and PC at the same time. When I click delete from mailbox & handheld it only deletes from my Blackberry.
Since late September, most of my gmail personal email messsages cannot be deleted. Can see no logic to those that do delete. No problems for two previous years and no problem with the business emails under separate name. Have verified they are not saved. Have tried usual processes, one by one delete, all prior delete, etc. Can delete on computer, but still appear on the Blackberry. (Tour 9630/no new apps or downloads during this time/ pretty basic phone and email usage, and no prior problems relating to this issue.) Have already checked prior entries on this forum. Either not applicable, or had no impact on the problem.
I just upgraded to v4.5.0.173 and now I don't have the ability to delete emails on the server. Before, I had the option to delete from server or delete on device only.
