So there's that game that i really like to play (boom beach) but it would be really good if i could like have the app opened from my htc one m8 and control it from laptop i hope you can get what i say ...
With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.
I sometimes use whatsapp to chat to friends, but typing long sessions get tiresome quickly, so i want to control the phone from my laptop if possible.i installed droid vnc but as soon as i try to connect, the service stops. I wrote the author to see if i can get a fix.So i thought of another solution. Maybe i can put a bluetooth dongle in the laptop and somehow install a virtual keyboard in the computer so the phone can see it as a bt keyboard. I have seen a software for this but on linux only and i haven't been able to find a windows solution.
I've a Nokia 5230 connected to a laptop via a Bluetooth USB adapter. Is it possible operate with the phone remotely, via a PC application that can call call phone numbers and redirect the phone audio on the PC side ?

I have a Bold 9700. OS 6.I can only see a white screen with a gray bar down it.The phone appears to be working behind it - it vibrates, LED blinks, etc when a message comes in. I have rebooted, & pulled battery. I have left the battery out for a time. I tried a different battery. With the desktop software I have restored a previous back up, i can do a current back up & see what apps are installed, as well. All with no change.
I somehow discovered how to program custom remotes before simply setting up my main TV to a pre-programmed one (Samsung). When I did discover the built-in remote for the Samsung, I noticed the volume & channel rocker buttons are HUGE compared to the ones available for building your own remote.
there such a device for Nokia phones? I would like a little remote (preferably something that can connect to my steering wheel) so that I can change tracks on my phone via bluetooth. is there such an animal? I don't need anything fancy, as I already have blueooth telefony integration with my car -- I just want to change audio tracks easily.
I just stumbled across this program today called anyRemote.A pretty nifty piece of software you install on your Linux computer, and an equivalent jar file for your J2ME enabled phone.Check it out at http://anyremote.sourceforge.net/ If you're using Ubuntu, you can find anyRemote in Software Center. I got it working with my SE Aino. You're presented with 12 icons on the screen, which you can press using the 12 numeric keys - or use touch if the phone supports touch, like Aino does. The 12 icons are defined in a default configuration file for each program you can control. You can edit this configuration file to define other controls as you like.
I have been having a serious issue with my Lumia 1020 there is no audio from the phone what so ever. I cant hear people when they ring and they cant hear me. The phone does not let me play music on it or play videos unless I go onto the internet and look at a youtube video but there is still no sound from it. Another issue is that when I go onto the camera app and select to take a video the phone closes its self out of the app. It does this same thing in other apps were I try to play any type of audio. There is no volume control because when the buttons are pressed a small gray strip across the top of the screen appears and goes away after a couple of seconds. Mechanically the buttons work as a have performed multiple master resets on the phone which involves using the volume down button.
I used have a music control even when the phone was locked. I can at least go to the next song, pause or go to the previous song. Now I don't have that option when the screen is locked.
I would like to best way to move my existing data on itunes including library, photo, music, movies from old laptop of XP to new laptop on windows 7. I downloaded new version of i tunes in my new laptop and not sure how to migrate entire data and synch with new laptop?
My Xperia Z5 cannot connect to my Laptop, For details about my Laptop, its window 7 with 64-bits. So I already used PC Companion to recognize the phone and I got this...
I just bought the new Z2, it was great until I can't sync or back up my data to my laptop. My laptop is using Window 7 and I have updated the phone to 17.1.1.A0.402 version. Beside that I also updated the Sony PC Companion, yet nothing can I do to sync or back up to my laptop even y using wifi or usb cable (original from the box). My laptop also can't detect the Z2 device too.
I am unable to import photos from my phone to my laptop using desktop software. I have taken new photos and moved them from 'camera pictures' to 'picture library' but BB desktop software does not recognise that there are new photos to import.
I have had this phone for nearly six months and I have had to maintain it manually. When I try to synchronize my Outlook with my phone using the Blackberry Desktop Manager, but it indicates that the subfolders are not available. I have tried the help menu and it tells I have to use the Advanced tab and then manually add the folders I want. But I can't use the Advanced tab and it is not accessable. I can only use the Setup tab.
All of the help functions either through the Desktop Manager or the website do not help. I have a toll free number so that I can speak to a real live person but I have to pay a fee to do it.
For some reason my laptop doesn't read my phone, works on my pc fine but i'm trying to fix it for my laptop. My phone only charges, can't access the files. My USB configuration is set to MTP, it defaults to Charging only but even if i switch it back and forth it does not work
I never had trouble connecting my S4 to my old Dell laptop or my new Surface Pro 3. I'm trying to transfer my music to my new phone and neither device will recognize my phone. is there a setting I need to change?
I have a sony k530i. Can it be connected to internet via bluetooth from my lappy(i.e i want my phone to run internet from lappy by using bluetooth)? Is it possibe? It is possible on smartphones easily, but is it possible on non-smartphones?
What is the formula with regards to successful Bluetooth connection between my laptop, a Dell running Win7 and my phone. Unlike others, they are quick to blame the phone being this and that.So I made my own checking before I wrote this. Here's the thing, sometimes it is successful when the phone sends photo to the laptop and vise versa.
It was my mum's 80th on Friday, and got two videos, of 20 seconds, and 28 seconds, that I would like to forward to my sister who had to travel back down south soon after, but too late for me to bluetooth them to her phone. Her fiance suggested I email them, but when I tried Gmail it said video was too large, and when I tried Hotmail with phone's USB hooked up to laptop, couldn't find videos.
Got my Dad onto my old Iphone 4 (16gb)and it was going wonderfully, until, he managed to delete the app store, deactivate location settings (and stuff up find my iPhone) and all sorts of other delights!I am trying to reset the iPhone so that we can get it back and running but have a few issues:
1. He has changed email address and can no longer access email relating to apple id
2. He can't remember his apple password
3. I do forgot my password and it appears he has put in the wrong DOB (I have checked twice!)Â
Basically, I cannot turn off 'find my Iphone' which means I cannot restore the phone via iTunes on my laptop.
