View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new laptop and synced my phone to it. I carried over the old music to my laptop and now there's two copies of some songs ONLY on my iPhone. I tried manually deleting them but when I sync my phone they come back. I tried unchecking the albums to prevent them syncing and resetting it and that only removes some of the doubles. Just to clarify, they do NOT show up in iTunes as doubles, only on my phone.

First of all the laptop that had all my songs on it decided to get a "blue screen of death" and my dad won't fix it. Second of all, my dad decided to give my little sister my iPhone 3G for her birthday while I got his iPhone 3GS and he upgraded to the iPhone 4G. To switch the data he had to go through all of our iTunes accounts and do some removing and restoring. When we got our phones back regular data like pictures, apps, and contacts switched just fine. However, my phone had all of my dad's music instead of mine. I could've easily fixed this problem by getting my songs back, but my laptop is broken. What should I do?

For instance if your typing the the Sentence ( I really like my laptop dock but) while your about to type a word after your last in may revert back to maybe like and continue your typing. Which messes up everything. It does it often. I returned one laptop dock and received another one but it still doing the same think. Today I had my new iphone 4s delivered, I charged it using the wall charger and when I went to sync with my itunes, the phone wasn't connecting to the laptop, I phoned apple support who talked me through re-installing itunes, when he suggested I try the phone on another computer(which was air mac) my phone connected straight away, the apple adviser said the problem would be with my windows, but its all completely up to date, I've got windows 7, thing is, my old phone (3g) connects fine and itunes is opened straight away, why wont it work with the iphone 4s.
