I was messing around with my phone, and accidently deleted the Ovi Files and Ovi Contacts icons/apps from the phone. But now I have no idea how to get them back.I can't find any answers or support on this anywhere.I tried a reset, but that just did the settings.would a hard reset restore the phone back to it's original state? We have tried everything to open these files with no success. I know she has BB DTM 5. How can she open, convert or decrypt these documents so that she can read them, as well as, email them. I have sent an email to Whatsapp Messenger support as well; but have yet to get a reply. It is very important that we get access to these chats.

For example, when I go into my downloads and touch the screen to open (say) a PDF file, the screen goes dull and then returns to normal brightness and my file doesn't open. If I go into Documents to Go and open the PDF file it seems to work OK however?Same thing is happening with video files, for example I touch a video file to open it in VPlayer and, again, the screen goes dull and I can't access the video. Same with music whcih I can only access through the music player, not through other routes such as Astro file manager etc. Also when I try to open some links to websites embedded in emails etc the screen goes dull and then bright again and the links don't work.

The problem I am having now is that when I connect my phone by usb to my laptop, it no longer opens my files on the BB or even gives me the option. View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to send images from my BB to my laptop, I receive a "Failed to find service" message. Sending images to my BB from my laptop works perfectly fine.
Originally I received error messages about missing 'peripheral devices', but I've since followed instruction to install them, and resolved that error. I thought this would enable me to send and receive files to/from my BB without issue, but the "sending" part still won't work. I've also tried removing my BB from my Laptop's Devices, and vise versa, then re-pairing them. This also doesn't seem to have any effect.

When I open it to look at a photo and then close the app, re-opening the app brings me right back to the last photo I was looking at. On my Razr M if you closed the gallery and open it again you are back on the folders screen. Now with the turbo I have to hit back a few times to get where I want to be. The same goes with my emails and text messages. If I text someone and close, instead of getting the whole list when I re-open messaging it starts off on the last person I was talking to.

For example : i try to transfer an application to my device (I put it in Download folder) but when I go to my nexus 5 (Storage ==> Downloads) I can't see the application (like if it is hidden) and the same thing to the rest (document, music, video...) but when I transfer photos over the PTP, there is no problem.

Second of all, my dad decided to give my little sister my iPhone 3G for her birthday while I got his iPhone 3GS and he upgraded to the iPhone 4G.
