I made the mistake of installing the Dashclock widget on my HTC One. It does not do what I want it to and therefore I don't need it. Unfortunately, it continues to run a process even though I don't utilize it on any of my screens. There is no "App" to uninstall, and when I try to delete the widget from the list of available widgets, How to do this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedLike many of us, I have experienced the problem of noise from the headphone port of my Bionic. This was prevalent no matter what I was listening too (music, podcast, phone call, etc), and was most noticeable when in the car, plugged into the aux jack of my stereo.
A friend suggested getting a ground loop isolator, and I found one on Amazon for around $12 with free shipping. It arrived on Friday, and let me tell you, THE DIFFERENCE IS AMAZING! All the noise is gone, and my music sounds significantly better. No more hiss or noise. I didn't realize how much I had gotten used to it being there.

I have an issue with the HTC stock weather/clock widget. The weather portion will update for a while and stops after about 6 hours. A reboot will fix the problem for about 6 hours. I have the weather app scheduled to update every hour. The same thing also happens with my Beweather widget.

The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.

Being able to see my inbox from my home screen is something I do all the time. I don't want to have to buy a 3rd party app for email (and only maildroid offers this at 19.95). An SMS would be sent to my phone and I was able to configure the emails using the "SMS provisioning" feature which would result in NO mail box setup in the Messaging folder, but a (push) widget email client instead. I live in the US and am using N97, latest firmware (v21 something). When I go to email.nokia.com and try to get the software and it asks me to go to email.nokia.com on my phone which results in a mailbox setup in the Messaging folder, which is not what I want. Anyone got the same problem?

It can only let me change wallpaper? I tried to reset using phone, using code, restarting a few times etc Nothing helped.I even sent a message to Nokia helpline explaining all what has happened and they send me a silly email back with simple ""use "add content" in order to add widget to your main screen "Somebody help! If you know how to add the last widget please let me know.

I use the mail widget on my N8 which I never switch off, only turning it to "battery saving" at night. I notice that every 2 or 3 days, the widget does not launch the mail app anymore when I tap it. Power on/off cycle resumes correct behavior.I am currently trying to find if anything special might trigger the bug, but did not find anything so far.
