Aug 21, 2014I've had a 1520 for a few months now, fitted with a 64GB memory card. It's got pretty full as I install all my apps, games, photos and videos on it.
Decided to get one of the new 128GB SanDisk cards... Turned off the phone, took card out and copied all my data off the old card onto the new one via a PC, even made sure the new card had the same name as the old one. However when I put the new card in the phone and turned it on, it saw it as a new card and asked me if I wanted to use it to store stuff on. I said yes... but when I went to the photo gallery there was nothing there...
I put my old card back in and all was fine again... the 128GB one is definitely not a fake, I bought a few directly from SanDisk through the place where I work. Incidentally I upgraded the card in my Surface Pro 2 following same procedure and it worked like a charm.

I know I need to copy the contents to the larger one so is it just a matter of copying it's contents for example to my pc then copy the contents with the same folder structure over to the new card and simply insert the new card?

Feb 1, 2011I have a blackberry curve 9300 thats about 1 months old. Two days ago the trackpad started to work only with ALT or SHIFT keys.Problem is:Situation 1) In the home menu the track pad scrolls great. It can move up to change ring settings, left, right, down, etc. Completely normal.Situation 2) I press the menu key and the trackpad no longer works. I can't scroll left right up or down through the icons. Now when I try holding the alt key OR the shift key, the track pad works again.. Only in some menus do I need to hold the alt or shift key to activate the track pad (and I need to hold the shift or alt key for the track pad to work, ie, if I release the alt/shift key it no longer responds)Situation 3) When sending a text message when I use the track pad to scroll down and send a message, it takes the last character and cycles through the symbols for that characterSpecs:Phone: Blackberry 9300 CurveSoftware: v5.0.0.845 (Platform 6.3.0.34) Done:I've tried the factory reset, removing the batter, removing the sim, etc.

Jan 9, 2011I got the htc shift and upon trying to sync it on a friends computer there were no issues. I got it home and mounted the phone to install sync, it started to work after a few minutes. Here is where the issue starts. Once I do the sync and unplug the phone, and remembering i want another song on it, i try to hook it back up and sync tells me no device connected. I've tried everything including uninstalling sync and then reinstalling it again. It works great the first go at it and then i have to uninstall and reinstall it again to get it to work.

Aug 2, 2010i want to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS. i'm on 4.0 and i want to upgrade to 4.0.1 before jailbreaking. the iPhone is being used as an iPod touch and therefore has no SIM card - if i update to 4.0.1, will it need to activate the iPhone with a SIM card after? or can i just update without worrying about having a SIM?

Jun 6, 2010My Bold 9700 has suddenly developed a glitch and being a newbie,When holding the Alt or Shift keys, no other keys work i.e. Holding Alt + R does not give 3 as expected . If I press Alt or Shift, release and then press the desired key (for numbers/symbols), then it works fine. This has not been a problem since I got my 9700 in February and holding down Alt/Shift has worked since day 1.
I am running OS v5.0.0.421 I have tried several battery pulls to no effect.I am guessing that I should back up my data, wipe the device and clean install the current OS.

I wait update program every day, becouse my clock wrong to me.I try to tune clock by hand and change time zone, but GPS disordered my clock everytime. I try to get help from russian call center, but them except as standart phrases "The Developers know about this problems, We don't know nothing, Just wait and belive, The developers develop development... bla bla bla" and nothing more. I like my phone very much (much more than all Android and Iphones taken one with another) but i think that case is irresponsibility of Nokia Company and its Russian offices.

I'll take a photo with my iPhone 5, edit it in an app (Aviary) to make it super crisp and bright. When I try to post it in Instagram it'll shift a bit and turn blurry.I've even tried with untouched photos and it does the same. I've also restarted the phone and deleted/reinstalled the app.

Nov 28, 2011I have just bough a Lexar 32GB class 10 Micro SD card that I am trying to use to replace the current 8GB class 4 card in my Nokia E72. I am trying to copy the data that is on the old card over to the new card. I have used the Nokia suite to make a backup and then resort that back up to the new card but then some of my apps are not there. I have also tried to copy the conents of the old card to the my computer using a card reader and then copy this to the new card (inclusing all hidden files, using Windows Explorer). This gets me more apps back but not everything. So, what is the best way to upgrade the memory card an keep all the data?

I have been using my BB Bold for a little over a month now with the Sprint supplied 2GB MicroSD card installed. My encryption has been set to "OFF." I just received at my door a new TopRam 8GB Class 6 MicroSD card that I would like to swap into my 9650 in place of the OE provided 2GB card. Please, what is the procedure for swapping the cards, while retaining all my data and settings as I currently have them on the phone/card, with the new 8GB card? Is there a way to do this reliably without the use of the BB Desktop Manager Software by simply copying files to my PC off the 2GB card, then copying onto the 8GB card? -or am I better off doing it by backing up to my PC with the Desktop Manager Software, then restoring from the pc to the phone through USB cable? In either case, please give me a step-by-step. I don't want to screw this up or have partially copied data, or other hangups PS: Maybe I missed it, but I searched (read about 20 threads) & didn't find the answer there or in FAQ's - Thought for sure this would be an FAQ. If I missed it, well...sorry - please enlighten me.
