OK, while driving today I tried to access my voicemail and managed to do something wrong. Now if I call it, all the prompts are in Spanish, and I can't figure out how to get it back to English. My Nexus 5 is stock, non-rooted. I think it tells me to enter my PIN, which I do. Not sure if I need to hit #.

My name is lise and I jus turned on my phone after charging for the first time and am stuck already. I actually hit the wrong button for the language and is stuck in a different language and I can't read it to get back to where I had the option of English. Tried the back button but ot isn't going back to the language menu and now I am stuck.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've tried to set a voicemail number on my phone, but it will not save.
I've tried going to Voicemail > Setup > Voicemail Number, entered the number (1416) and then clicked ok.
The phone closes the dialog without displaying an error, but the voicemail number still reads as <Not Set> and the voicemail notification still says "Voicemail number unknown", though clicking on the option again shows 1416 already filled.
Looks like one of the new features of Marshmallow is native visual voicemail. I think it's only active on T-Mobile so far and it seems to be working for me. All voicemail is downloaded to the dialer app and its synced with the carrier voicemail system. It's okay but not as good as Google voice as it does not convert the message to text. Otherwise pretty useful if anybody ever calls me and leaves a message.

When I got a voicemail notification, but when I tried to access my voicemail from the notification it said I hadn't setup my voicemail number. that was funny because it was setup before the Update. Then when I went into settings and tried to setup my voicemail access number - it would not save it .
I am on O2 in the UK and the voicemail access number is 901
In settings, the only choice I see is Hangouts, although I've installed Textra, Chomp SMS, 8sms, etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my own domain and I get POP3 emails the domain-provided-email-address forwarded to my POP3-ISP-provided-email address. These arrive on my N5.
I have the N5's incoming server settings set to "...delete emails from server when I delete emails from the device...". Despite this, emails get downloaded to my N5 again and again even after I have deleted them from both the N5's email inbox (accessed via the "yellow @ card going into a white envelope" icon) and also after I deleted them from theN5's Recycle bin.
I understand that POP3 emails are prone to "re-arrive" like this, but if I can just reduce the frequency that this happens, that would be good.
I have a Nexus 5, I removed the stock email app.
Now I need to use the stock email that comes with the device for work, but I can't seem to find it in the play store. Maybe I'm searching under the wrong name, but how I can get the stock email app back onto my device? Is the stock email even in the play store? If it's not in the play store, any good email app for businesses that uses exchange?
My phone recently today just randomly turned off. I thought it was my charger that wasn't working, but I tried using my friend's charger and it was my phone that wasn't working. I tried charging it again, but now it just shows "Google" and turns off again.

It is not unusual sometimes the touch screens don't respond and the easiest fix would be to press the power button to go to the lock screen and come back. I did notice a file named TWRP, but it does not open and is not a folder.How can I get the folder back to manage my backups?

I put the phone back together and everything works fine, but he is suffering from random shutdowns. He says that he plays his phone throughout the day and every now and then when he pulls his phone out of his pocket it has powered off. He has to hold down the power button to restart the phone. Do I need to take the phone back apart?
