View 1 RepliesI have 1000 pictures on my N5, and I was wondering if there any app that allowed me to upload them all at once on the cloud!
I have GoogleDrive + Box
I have a Nexus 5 running Android Lollipop and unrooted. Today I went on the internet and got a rude surprise when I found out I had an adware called CloudScout. I unistalled the app that I thought was responsible but it was still there. I then installed 2 different Malware Scanning Apps both of them didn't pick up. I am only aware of this happening on Chrome browser for Chrome

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have backup turned on in the Gallery app, in the Gallery app settings it says "Google photos sync is ON", so I am assuming its syncing my photos with my google account, but where do I find the backed up photos? I looked in google drive and google plus, nothings there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo last week I was off on March break with my family and I took several pictures Tuesday and Wednesday on my phone of my kids, even remember showing a few of them in the evenings to my wife. Realized I forgot to turn on "auto backup" to google drive (or whatever it's called) and turned that on at some point mid-week.
On Friday I went out with my son and snapped a few more pics, and realized all the pictures I had from Mon - Wed were gone. Not in the Gallery app, not in the Photos app, and now that I'm checking with a computer, I simply can't find them anywhere on the phone at all.
I certainly didn't go through each photo and select "Delete" or anything like that! Unless there was a delete all button that I somehow clicked accidentally (which would seem really odd) and deleted all photos from the camera itself (it's a new RMA'd camera so all I had were the photos from Mon-Wed).
Gmail for Android: 4.8 (1167183)
Nexus 5 , non-rooted
A friend of mine sent me an email in Gmail with inline pictures, the pictures are displayed perfectly in my nexus 7 (2013, non rooted gmail 4.8 (1167183)) and desktop automatically when i open the email. This not happens in my Nexus 5 mobile. They only displayed as an empty line square with a small icon at the center. In order to view the pictures i have to download and save them one by one to Nexus 5 (or upload and save to Gdrive) and open the jpg file(s). The is no "show image" button.
The setting "Data Usage/Images" (at the bottom of the screen) is already set to "Always show" and the box for "Auto fit messages" is checked in "Settings/General Settings" in the default gmail account. Also "auto download attachments" is set.
Someone sent me pictures and I want to save them. I long hold it when it is maximized and no options come up.

View 22 Replies View RelatedIn CM 11, I could long press on a picture in the messaging application, and get an option to save or export to SD card/internal storage. On CM 12 messaging, I do not get any menu when long pressing.
When I click on a picture it opens in the gallery app, where I have an option to set as wallpaper or print, but still no option to save to SD/internal storage.
If MMS come in as a gallery, I can save those. But I can't figure it out for an individual image.
When I attempt to back it up (locking it, making sure it's connected to WiFi, and plugging it into my laptop or the wall), it says something like "9 hours to complete backup," and doesn't complete the back up. What's going on? It's never had this issue before. Granted, it is a refurb (3rd one) that has carried with it the software issues of my original 4s (exceedingly annoying; it has all sorts of little annoying issues), but it has never continuously failed to back up.

Anyny mod/application that enables you to reject the call, and then call back immediately, or after few seconds with just one push of a button?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy N5 will not open photos. I get a message saying "couldn't download MMS". This is starting to get annoying and I'm not sure if its a T-Mobile issue or a N5 issue.

View 22 Replies View RelatedSo I have been having an issue with my Hangouts no receiving picture msgs. Its as if Hangouts picks and chooses which ones it wants to allow. One notification says"new MMS message to download: size is 1265KB" followed by an expiration period. I click on download, but it keeps failing.

I have my own domain and I get POP3 emails the domain-provided-email-address forwarded to my POP3-ISP-provided-email address. These arrive on my N5.
I have the N5's incoming server settings set to "...delete emails from server when I delete emails from the device...". Despite this, emails get downloaded to my N5 again and again even after I have deleted them from both the N5's email inbox (accessed via the "yellow @ card going into a white envelope" icon) and also after I deleted them from theN5's Recycle bin.
I understand that POP3 emails are prone to "re-arrive" like this, but if I can just reduce the frequency that this happens, that would be good.
I have a Nexus 5, I removed the stock email app.
Now I need to use the stock email that comes with the device for work, but I can't seem to find it in the play store. Maybe I'm searching under the wrong name, but how I can get the stock email app back onto my device? Is the stock email even in the play store? If it's not in the play store, any good email app for businesses that uses exchange?
My phone recently today just randomly turned off. I thought it was my charger that wasn't working, but I tried using my friend's charger and it was my phone that wasn't working. I tried charging it again, but now it just shows "Google" and turns off again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWas on my Facebook app checking a Notification when suddenly the buttons to return to home screen, back and move between currently running apps stopped working. It is not unusual sometimes the touch screens don't respond and the easiest fix would be to press the power button to go to the lock screen and come back. When I tried turning on the phone to unlock it, it never turned back on.

My nexus 5 is having screen issues and the screen basically doesn't function due to what I can only assume is a bad connection on the mainboard ( if I press in the right area with the back cover off the screen will flicker and work a tiny bit if I reboot the phone.) My issue is I still have tons of pictures that are very dear to me on the device and need to get them off of it.
When I connect it to my pc (windows 7) it connects and shows up as a nexus 5 device but nothing will appear in the folder. Im fairly certain I have the correct drivers installed as well. So how can I get it to connect properly with having basically no access to the screen?
I have received a half dozen or so phone calls since I upgraded to Lollipop, and so far every call that I've had has a caller ID picture assigned in contacts, but none have shown up with a picture while the call is actually ringing my phone.
Has Google removed caller ID pictures on incoming calls, or is there something else going on here?
