After the last Ota update, I am unable to bring up the menu on Droidfish.. When I tap the floating menu button it pops up and goes back down again.
I tried reinstalling the app and even did a factory reset, but still the same!
Also, is there a way to disable the floating menu button and instead longpress on recent programs button to bring up the menu?
So I noticed that some apps utilize a floating menu button (I think that's because the s6 doesn't have a dedicated menu button?) that appears like a circle with 3 dots on the screen wich you can move around.
However it appears to somehow be broken, as when I tap the button a menu appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears again, not giving enough time to do anything and of course rendering such an app useless.
I can't access my setting menu, press the left "button" and the settings option is there I press it and the menu pops up for about a second then goes back to the home screen, if I go in through apps menu its the same, its a stock S2 about a month old on T mobile uk.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded from a Curve to a Torch 9850. I have had the new phone for nearly 3 weeks and noticed that occasionally the back button and menu button would not work. In the beginning it was once or twice a day but this weekend it has been an all day event. The phone is fairly useless like this. It occurs with all applications as well as text and BB messenger.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi know the back button and menu buttom supposed to be white and i checked with 2 friends of mine that also got the s6 and its white in their phones. also the home button is kinda moving but not so much... when i checked with my friends phone it wasn't moving. you think i should use my warranty for such a stupid thing? also the device is original and not fake. the screen sometimes (it didn't happen me in 5 days and today it happend again) the touchscreen stop responding to my finger for about a second. lets say i want to click an app so when i first clicked it it didn't work but when i tap again it worked. i think this is normal because sometimes you dont press very well.. any way. orange back and menu buttons and tell me if you got it to(inside a house,outdoor its white because of the sun) and the home key that is kinda moving (not so much but a little bit more than my friends does)

Sometimes when I start the unit up in the morning no icons appear on my home screen although when I go into my apps they are all there. I would have to restart the phone a couple of times before everything would appear. Now I seem to have a permanent problem the touch sensitive buttons on the bottom of my phone for getting to the settings and the 'back' button do not light any more, but they do function.

It wasn't a big deal, it fell maybe 2 feet into a carpet. But the thing is, the background was still, there is no more parallax effect, even after reboot, and i've notice this right now at night.
Have a Galaxy S2 on Sprint network and out of nowhere yesterday the home/menu/back/search buttons stopped working and the phone is running really slow. It came back for like 5 min yesterday afternoon but then started again. I've already done the factory reset and it's still the same way. If I press the call, message, contact buttons on the home screen nothing works. Can someone tell me what to do?

On my S5, I have it all working to have vibrate work whenhn pressing back button, texting, etc...This is even with Power Saving on.
My wife's S5 has same setting, but hers does not work unless you turn you Power Saving Off. Her vibrate works on text message but not the back button?

I cant restart, turn off, use any apps at all, I cant even get into the settings to factory reset anything. I did manage to do a clear up yesterday but it didn't seem to work. I scanned through the web and found some has encountered the same issue but I haven't found a real solution. I'm actually new at rooting and flashing things to phone. My phone is unlocked and rooted. I did things like - factory reset and asked someone to flash the stock rom for me but the ghost pressing is still there so i'm thinking that i should completely the back button and use an app for replacement. However I don't know how to disable the back soft key.
I have recently switched to from the iphone 4s to the new Samsung Galaxy S5. Everything about the phone is great except the annoying multitasking and back button that i keep accidentally "touch" when playing games, watching full screen vids, etc. Is there a way to make the side "buttons" less sensitive or move it to the home button like the iphone? This way, I can hold the phone with both hands and not accidentally stop what i'm doing by literally/barely grazing those two corners.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe problem I am having is that when I receive an email, I will open it, read it if need be and either leave it as is or go back to the home screen. A few seconds later the email indicator shows back up as a new message, like if I havent read the message. If I retort back to opening it again, a few secs later, the indicator pops back up. So in order to get rid of the problem all together, I have to simply delete the message which takes care of the problem.
Is there a way I can get rid of this problem without always having to delete my messages? I have tried deleting my email account and adding it back, but the problem in fact remains. I have gone thru the options menu to email setting and changed some things in there just to see if that would fix it. But nope, the problem still remains. Can someone please tell me what the problem could be and how this can finally go away? thanks in advance.
It appears that the power button on my Galaxy S6 isn't working anymore. I have faulted this with samsung and they have asked me to send it to them for repair. Today, I was going to back up my phone but my battery went flat before I could do this and now I cant get the phone back on!! Some have suggested holding down the volume up button then plugging in the usb lead while connected to a computer, it didn't work. I have also tried the volume down button and the home button at the same time while plugged in via usb, this didn't work either. how I can get into recovery mode without using the power button, I really need to get the phone back on, the battery is sealed in.

It's acting like the 'back button' is randomly being pressed. It makes it impossible to open an app, send a txt or do anything, as it backs out of everything all the time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy menu button loads my 'phone' and not the menu for the phone. I cannot access the menu that includes: hide, move, open tray etc. I cleaned up the phone and uploaded the newest software via the BB desktop application software. I ended up cleaning it up so well it seemed to go back to factory settings as I lost all my apps. It seemed to solve the problem though and I got my menu button to work properly again. I have since uploaded App World and a new theme. The button still worked properly for 24 hours. Today, I turn it on and all is working well but the menu button loads my phone again. Do you understand that the menu does not load, but rather the 'phone' menu pops up as though I'd pressed the phone icon. I wonder if the 'flex ribbon cable' underneath the buttons is misaligned somehow and when I press the menu key, it is loading the green telephone key menu because of malfunction of the ribbon.
