Galaxy S6 Edge :: Touch Screen Unresponsive - Horizontal Blue Line Moves Up And Down
Oct 25, 2015A couple of times now I've had this problem where I go to use my phone or read a new text that has come through and when I go to enter my 4 digit pin the screen is not responding & I have this blue horizontal line that moves down from the top of the screen continuously like its doing some sort of scan over the phone. I have no way to stop this or to have the ability to enter my 4 digit pin for accessing my phone.
Eventually I give up trying to enter my pin & put my phone down for hours. When I come back to try again twice now I've been able to use my phone like normal and the issue seems to have gone away but other times this still remains for a longer time then randomly starts to work as normal. I've forced my phone to turn off & or reboot but this still isn't fixing the problem. I haven't been able to access my phone for over 10 hours and I have miss calls & messages that people have sent me but unable to get past my 4 digit pin to read them.

May 10, 2015Long time iPhone user and just transitioned to Android. Just got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and it's been quite a learning experience so far. So is there a way to lock the homescreen and the apps that are displayed there? The wife is having a problem where she can just be holding her phone in her palm and when she looks at her phone the next time, most of her apps are missing. Is there anyway you can lock the apps in place? I know with the iphone there are a few things needed to make apps disappear (hold icon, hit "X", tap on DELETE. All pretty specific spots within the screen that need to be tapped.

Oct 15, 2015I just got a S6 Edge. In the app drawer there are four folders (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Tools and Amazon) with apps in them. I would like to delete one of those folders and put the apps individually into the app drawer. It won't let me do this. I can move apps from the app drawer to the home pages but not the other way around. Is there a way to do this?

I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?

Dec 21, 2015I had my phone since April 2015 and never had any problems until 3 days ago. When my phone is not using wireless internet (like when I leave my house) and it switches to Mobile Data (4G) it overheats in a matter of minutes and battery starts draining super fast.
I tried the same thing at home, when im using wireless, everything is perfect, no overheating when playing games or using apps and battery life is normal, but when I turn off wireless, the battery drained by 10% in just 2 minutes and the temperature got uncomfortably hot it hurts to even hold the phone.
I have tried Factory Reset like many suggested but that didn't work, it's still causing the same problem. I dont even know why it started doing this, it was fine for 8 months and it's not like I installed anything new lately.

Only if the word can be an emoji and it has a period after. For example, I just typed a sentence and the last word was "soon." I typed out "soon." And my phone sort of auto corrected it to "soon soon." NO matter how many times I tried deleting the second word, every time I put a period, if would add the word again.
