May 2, 2014I moved a picture to my Google Drive on my PC and it now appears on my Google Drive on my Galaxy s5. How do I then move it to the Gallery on my s5?

Aug 25, 2014I've always been able to connect my phone to my PC with a USB cable and have a folder pop up which would allow me to transfer files but for some reason I can't anymore.
When I connect the USB, my PC makes a noise like when a device has been connected and my phone says "connected as a media device" but I still can't see the folder. The phone is set to connect as Media Device (MTP), not a Camera (PTP).

Feb 11, 2015I am dragging and dropping files in to the local DRIVE folder that installed itself on my laptop. Been doing it for 2 + years and all was working fine.I have just noticed that since late last year - or possible early this year- that nothing has synced to DRIVE on my HTC one M8 (... nor are they in the DRIVE app if i open it up on the laptop)
It definitely seems like a problem with the local DRIVE folder not syncing? (if i drag and drop in to the app on the laptop direct, then all is fine)Also, on the phone, if i go to the incoming screen and swipe down to refresh, i get "Refresh failed: please check your network connection". i am definitely connected to the wi-fi

I test drove the Nokia drive on couple of known locations and both times the paths chosen were uncommon - when comparing to the inbuilt GPS in the car as well as with Google Navigation! This was US maps. I hope Nokia Maps / Drive gets better.

Jul 30, 2015I've got this issue for about two or three days now. Quite often, when I take a picture with stock Google camera app, my Nexus turns off instantly. Then, when I try to turn it on again, it often turns off again in about one minute and usually it shows almost empty battery (even though before shutdown it was nearly full).
First it has appeared on stock rooted 4.4.4, the phone tried to boot like 10 times, so I erased cache and dalvik via TWRP, but then it didn't detect SIM card and showed unknown baseband. I solved it by flashing bootloader and radio.
Then, I installed a stock 5.1.1, rooted it again (I thought it would solve the issue), but the same problem with camera occurred. So, could it be hardware issue? How to debug it?
Galaxy S5 :: Ads Appearing In Gallery On Phone?
Sep 17, 2015I opened my gallery a few days ago to find that it was cluttered up with a lot of advertisements in the form of videos and pictures. There where about 10 - 20 of these and how they got there.
I don't download many apps at all, when I do I try be very careful to make sure they aren't harmful for my phone.
Before these ads had appeared though, I had installed two games. Knowing about how some apps will abuse permissions to do unwanted things and I assumed the culprit to be the most recent game I had downloaded, because I thought that I saw one of the same ads saved that had popped up in the game and the timing of this happening after a new app installed indicated it was this game.
I was annoyed that my phone had been exploited and deleted these pictures/videos, uninstalled the app and left a bad review explaining it saves ads on your phone.
Well I thought that was the end of it. Today I open my gallery and what do I see? Yep. More damn ads saved! Not so many this time though, there's about 4. So I realized that it wasn't the game at all, it is uninstalled and gone but the ads are still being saved. You could say I promptly made some "minor adjustments" to my review. :P
I decided to do a scan with AVG thinking that will find whats doing this but it didn't find any threats. So now I am seriously wondering how these ads are being downloaded onto my phone without my consent, using my data, storage space and cluttering my gallery up.

Mar 26, 2014Just received an odd error on my N5 when I woke up this morning, simply says "Google Drive could not authenticate. Please check your account settings.".
Yet when I swipe the window out, then enter Google Drive, everything appears fine (I see a couple of my files in there). Further, there is nothing in "Settings" in Drive that actually allows me to check the account settings?
