Galaxy S6 :: Can't Sync Google Accounts

under settings -> data usage i enabled "limit backgroud data" for google play service..
Today i found that my address book it was not syncing with gmail, so i try to do it manually but it just gave me a RED ! saying that an issue occurred..
I tryed on 2 different google account several times and it did non sync when i connect the phone to my wifi network it synced without issue..
I am not sure if limiting background data for google play service is the problem but i don't know how to remove that settings under data usage i can't see it any more..

From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?

When I go to settings ->Accounts ->Google it says 'sync error' and when I refresh it keeps giving me the error. At the bottom of the screen it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly".

My S6 on AT&T is having sync issues. At girt it was just my Google contacts, every so often they wouldn't sync and when I went to setting it would give a sync error message for my Google contacts. Then I noticed my Outlook app wasn't syncing, only after I opened the app. Now the same is happening with my Yahoo email app.

It's been about 4 years since I had an Android phone (back from the dark side) and I am getting our shared calendar setup.
My Windows Google calendar to my wife's Windows Google calendar is fine, syncs within 20-30 seconds. Seems like the sync to her Note5 and my S6 is so slow that to be sure we are getting the calendar updates we have to go in and manually sync the Google account on each phone. This process takes a good 5 mins and is not ideal to be doing it all day long to ensure we have the latest events.
Is there something I can check/change to get the sync to happen a bit more automatically/frequently on the phones?

My wife has an iPhone, I've got a GS6. Sunrise Cal allows me to see her iCal events, but with the recent events of Sunrise, I am back to Google Cal.

I have copied my contacts from my old phone via Bluetooth to this device and then I used the "Move device contacts to" option in the contacts app and choose the Samsung Account option to back them up. But what if I decide to switch to a non-Samsung device? How do I take the contacts from Samsung Account and at least copy them to Google account?

Today the native calendar (green one) on my Galaxy S5 stopped syncing with my Google calendar. When I checked the settings there were no calendars listed. When I try to add a calendar, the app crashes. In addition to that, all the appointments on my phone have been deleted. The calendar is version 1.0.
It also will not sync to Outlook, which it had done previously.

I feel like ever since updating to Lollipop I've experienced nothing but issues with my phone. Now for no reason my phone decides to delete all the accounts that I have registered on the device. I think I'm not getting any emails and then I go into the stock Gmail app on my phone and it's asking me to add an account. This has happened at least 5 within the past 2 weeks and it's definitely not something I can deal with. A few times I've almost missed important emails because my accounts have disappeared from my phone. Not only do my Google accounts disappear but my Twitter account is lost as well. Nothing else is deleted from my phone, everything is still there just none of the accounts.

I have 4 different email accounts, 2 of them are gmail and yahoo. The unpleasant thing that happen is that after setting up these accounts. Contacts are auto-sync and now I have the same contact twice although in the "setting" "setup" I have untick the sync contact box I just do not understand why does that happen. I have use blackberry before but none of these happen this is so un-cool!

i have multiple Email accounts on E6 with symbian anna and set them to only check email when I open the mailbox and hit Z (or press 'send and receive now').Is there a way to do this for all email accounts without having to open each one of them?On my old E55 there was an Option 'Synchronize all' in the Mail Application, which did exactly what i want. Havent found it on the E6 yet.

I have a new phone. AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. Need transferring contacts from google to galaxy s6 contacts. With out phone numbers, and phone isn't really a phone.

how often the social apps for facebook and twitter sync for those accounts integrated on the RAZR. On the Bionic which was very similar, we had the option of selection "PUSH" or we could fetch the data for those feeds at different time frames. I dont see that option at all on the RAZR, and i would rather not have push going all day for facebook and twitter...

I have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

I have two hotmail accounts that I receive e-mails from. I was successfully able to add one but not the other. The one that worked is a .com account where as the other is a .ca account. They both used to work just fine on my S3.
I tried the stock e-mail app and g-mail. Neither work. I tried adding it as an Exchange Account, IMAP and POP3. No luck. Tried modifying the connection/server settings, still nothing. Even downloaded a third party app (Nine) but that didn't work either. Nine did however lead me to a tool that told me that the account can't be set up as an exchange although I don't really understand why.

Is it possible when I say, for example, "Ok Google. Send an email to dad," that I can use one of my non-Gmail accounts to send it? I have my Comcast email signed in under Gmail, but it always defaults to my Gmail account I never use, and when I select the icon in the top right that says "Send this email with...," that is the only option.

I am new to my Samsung S6, and was feeling good that I was able to create a Gmail IMAP account in the "Google" app, 2 accounts in the "Personal (POP3)" app, and one account in the "Email" app. Then I discovered that only the "Email" app shows up on my desktop and I have to open 3 different apps to look for email. Is there a way for me to "import" those other accounts into "Email" app? It looks like I might be able to start from scratch and enter all of the settings (which wasn't a short procedure), but I've read of problems encountered (e.g. disappearing emails from server, etc.)
1. Which app will produce the most user-friendly email app?
2. How to import existing account settings (created under "Accounts" in settings)?

In the settings screen, all my accounts, my gmail accounts are listed as not synced. When I try to manually sync them nothing happens. They still say unsent. What can I do to fix it?

I have recently switched to Android after 8 years as a BlackBerry user. BlackBerry had a central hub--one inbox--where my three personal email accounts, my work email account, my SMS messages, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media all appeared. All messages of any sort came to this central location. Is this possible with my Galaxy S6 Edge? So far, I have my personal email accounts in one box, my work email (we use Google Apps) in another, and my SMS in a third. I don't mind keeping social media out of this inbox, but it would be nice to get all the other incoming messages 'under one roof.' All accounts considered, I receive 100 messages a day on average. A central location for these would be nice. I've been told that what I want to do isn't possible on an Android device, but I hoped for a second opinion.

I'm not able to add any Instant Messaging accounts at all. Every time I try to add an account through the Social Hub and through the IM app, I get "Error Occurred".I was able to add Gmail and hotmail but I can't add any of the IM programs such as Windows live messenger and Google Talk.My phone is factory unlocked, stock kernel XWKF3.I tried calling Samsung for support, and they just told me to send the phone back, but I know it's not a problem with the phone.

I updated my Sprint Galaxy S5 to Android 5.0(Lollipop). A feature of 5.0 was supposed to be support for multiple user accounts and to let a friend login with his/her gmail account and use the phone if they broke/forgot there's. I've searched the settings page and all and haven't found this feature on my S5. Am I doing something wrong or was this left out on purpose.

I just got the s2, and i have 4 email accounts (2 work, 1 hotmail, 1 gmail). I have them configured and working, but they are all under the standard mail app (white envelop with blue @). When I get a new message, this icon will show how many unread messages there are. But, it shows for all of my accounts. I'm trying to have separate apps/icons for each email address that'll show some type of "unread messages" notification on the icon itself. Came from a blackberry and i had 4 individual accounts setup, each would have a red star if there was an unread msg in that account. I tried the hotmail and the gmail apps but they don't seem to show anything like this either.

The Google search widget isnt working as well as holding the home button to open now. I type in my search, get the loading icon, it disappears like it's done loading but it's blank. No error messages. Can't find any "google now" or "Google search" in app manager.

I just watched my battery go from 90%-49% in about 45 minutes because Google is syncing everything. It does this almost every night. My phone gets super hot and becomes almost useless, like it's so busy syncing that it can't do anything else.
