How do I get my settings screen to look like this?
Mine looks like this:
I have bought a Galaxy S6 Duos yesterday, and flashed XtreStoLite Deo-Mod v2.1 due to battery performance. Everything working just fine but the only thing is that there is no mobile network menu in settings so I can't enable mobile data. I have installed the quick toggle fix by Samsung but still no joy. Searched everywhere on this forum and google,
Phone model: SM-G920F
Baseband version: G920FXXU2BOJF
Kernel: Unikernel v3
I bought an unlocked SM-920F Galaxy S6. In the settings -> wifi -> more I dont see any 'advance' option and hence can not switch on notification when there is a wifi network available. All the submenus there are : Add network, WPS push button, WPS PIN entry, Smart network switch, Keep wi-fi on during sleep, Always allow scanning, Install network certificates. Am I missing something ? Where do I get the wi-fi notification settings ?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHere are some things I've noticed;
-The phone can't take screenshots
-I can't seem to find the fingerprint scanner in the settings menu
- the phone is saying I have no space left on the internal memory although I have only got a few apps
- can't find out how to use swype
I have used an s2 n s3 before this so I know my way around touchwiz a bit. The phone has USB 3 n some of the Samsung apps. It also says its an s5 in the 'about phone ' section.
I can't access my setting menu, press the left "button" and the settings option is there I press it and the menu pops up for about a second then goes back to the home screen, if I go in through apps menu its the same, its a stock S2 about a month old on T mobile uk.

What is screen mode in settings? And what's the best option to chose?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't open the settings menu - it just keeps crashing.
It started today and the phone had been getting really hot and draining battery at twice the speed it normally does, so I wanted to check battery usage in settings, which is when i discovered the fault.
Whether I try to access it through the main icon or via the pull-down tray icon, it just flashed white as if it was opening a new window, then returned to the menu.
I figured it was a case of hard reset as, due to the fact settings was unavailable, I couldn't even check for a new software update. So anyway, I hard reset and the problem is still there.
What's weirder is for the first 40 minutes or so it crashed in the same way as before, now it pops up and says 'sorry this crashed, would you like to send an error report'.
So I did. the error report says 'report type: crash, package name 'com.android.settings' ....
Whenever I go into settings for any reason on my LG g3 after a minute or so they crash to my dual window screen. The phone flashes this screen and goes black sometimes before restarting my home page.

I have a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. And I have a problem with it. When I tap into "Menu-Settings-Connectivity" and try to exit from there my "Settings" menu locked up. It shows that "Settings" menu always running background. And I can't tap anymore "Settings" menu until restart my phone. How can I resolve this problem?
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe drag down quick settings menu has disappeared from my Z3. Dragging down from the top with 2 fingers does not bring the menu down. Neither can I use the notifications at the top right to access the menu. However, I get to the sounds setting panel by using the volume button.
Tried this:Settings > personalization > Quick settings
but I do not see Quick Settings option.
I was hoping somebody found a way to get rid of it. If not, I assume that it is built into the OS.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1
When I try to configure settings for organizer into blackberry desktop software, send me a box the intellisync with unknown error reported, and can not do nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have about 5 screens, with the middle one set as a home screen. I've set in google play app to put a shortcut of new apps to home screen, but it actually add them to the very left one. The same is happening when trying to create a shortcut for contact - pin to home screen and I find them all on the very left screen instead.
Double-press of home button takes me correctly to my home screen...
Here's the problem - I pull down my notification screen and as I'm reading the notifications, my phone locks after 3-5 seconds of inactivity.
I can't for the life of me find anything in settings to change this so that I can view my notifications for a longer period of time before the phone locks. It's not so bad during the day because I'm able to check my phone regularly before getting a large build up of notifications, but it's frustrating when I wake up and have a long list that I want to read through to decide which notifications I want to read first.
S5 with Lollipop 5.0
I've just upgraded to the Galaxy S5 (I've defected from the 'other side'!) and updated the OS to Lollipop. There's apparently a new feature which allows you to access things like the flash light, wifi etc from the lock screen (Screen shot below). But I'm swiping down on the lock screen and nothings happening. Is this something that needs turning on in settings somewhere? I've been hunting round on the net and whiles there's plenty of articles covering the new feature, theres nothing on how to enable it.....if it needs enabling.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to ask, after the latest update. It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOne thing that I miss from CyanogenMod is the ability to add things to the quick settings menu. Is there an app available that will allow you to modify the quick settings menu on stock Android? My phone is rooted so but otherwise it's stock. I don't miss the instability of CyanogenMod, just that one feature, so I don't want to install a custom ROM, I just want to add a couple of things to the quick settings menu.

what is VPN and how to make use of it?
I have the Arix 4G running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on AT&T. However, I cannot access the "Settings" menu option on the phone. It is not listed in the "All Apps" list and when on the home screen, pressing the menu button then "Settings" does absolutely nothing. I've factory reset the phone, twice externally.
I can't get any more phone details as the menu is inacessible. how else I can get the settings menu functionality back?
I've been reading ways to save battery and one of them was to turn off that annoying "popping colors" when I unlock my screen. Says to go to setting>lock screen>unlock effect...Problem is that unlock effect is not there! I'm on AT&T and my friend is on Sprint and she has it in her settings. Is it an AT&T thing or a glitch on my phone?
