Apr 25, 2015How can I edit photos? On my Samsung Galaxy S4 I used to be able to edit photos like draw a circle, etc. but I can't find it on my Samsung Galaxy S6.

Aug 23, 2015I got an LG4 yesterday and while messing around with it edited a few photos with no issues. Today I updated the google photos app to ensure that my photos were being backed up and now the photo editing options have changed and they will no longer save. When i click the pen icon to edit it has different editing options and every time I try to save a picture it says "unable to save."

Dec 1, 2014I have been using my Xperia Z2 for months now with a couple of options of how to edit apps. Every time I took a picture, then pressed the small preview pic, it prompts you to choose an app to open it in. Up until last weekend I could open my pictures in a free, pre-installed app (I believe just called photo editor) which allowed me to add things like a HDR Scape to the photo and adjust brightness, saturation etc by scrolling up or down on the screen. That has been completely removed and the editing apps I have now aren't anything near as good as what I was using.

Jun 13, 2015I updated the Google Photo app last night as it has been pushing me to update and wouldn't work until I did. After the update, all of the previous photo edition options are gone (i.e. HDR, Dramatic, B&W, all of the vintage and frames, etc.) The only options available now are Auto, Light, Color, Pop and Vignette under settings and then when you pick the landscape picture icon, you have things like Mars, Phobos, Saturn, Ariel, Venus and Pluto. They just change the color of the pictures, don't add any effects.

Nov 24, 2014Following the L update I found I couldn't edit photos normally in Photos....just got 'Downloading resources etc' message. Eventually found a fix....turned off mobile data, turned on wifi, tried to edit a photo, got the message, clicked OK, and the editing tools downloaded. Photo editing now back to what it was before the update.

Jul 16, 2012just bought a new Nokia Lumia 900 phone. I would like to edit my photos on my PC (Win7), but I can't modify them. I tried it with ACDsee Photo Manager and Adobe Photoshop too, but it always failed, and an error message comes out everytime 'Can't write output file'. I have the right Security settings in the Lumia 900 Photos Folder Properties, but it seems like the Lumia 900 have a special file security system, and I don't have permission to modify my own photos.

Sep 30, 2015So I have some contacts with outdated phone numbers. When I open up the contact in question and then hit the edit tab I often don't see the number(s) that need to be changed or deleted. Across the top of the screen right under the "save" and "cancel" tabs I see a horizontal list of where this contact has an entry - - Google, Phone, Cloud, WhatsApp. Sometimes the phone numbers I'm looking for are in one of these but there seems to be no way to edit these as the entries are greyed out so they cannot be changed.
FWIW on the main Contacts setting I have it set up to only display Gmail linked entries.
How to get rid of incorrect phone numbers listed in any given contact entry?

Dec 1, 2012My question is about the circles widget. It is beyond frustration to me that it takes what seems like hours to update the weather. Even after touching the weather circle and it displaying the weather app, it still will typically not update. Maybe it's just me, but I see zero use in having a widget that tells me the weather from 2 hours ago. It is also incredibly annoying to be driving to work, the sun has been out shining bright for an hour and a half, it's 50-60F degrees outside, and I unlock the phone to see an image of the night sky and the moon, and a temp of 30F.
I would have more forgiveness if this was some random widget I downloaded from the Play store, but this came installed with the phone, created by Motorola, designed for my device. For the time being, I have actually removed it from the main screen because it has just become frustrating and I am tired of constantly tapping on the weather and hoping it will update. There doesn't even seem to be a refresh option once the weather opens. What I would really like, and what I have not found, is a way to change the frequency in which the weather is updated. Setting the location statically versus automatic doesn't seem to have an effect either. I am in an area with great signal, 4-5 bars, and always with LTE, otherwise I have WiFi, so it's not a network connection issue. It's not like I want it to update all the time while the phone is off either (and risk draining the battery), but when I unlock the phone, that seems like a good time for the widget to check and see if it's been more than X minutes since it last updated (X being the number I can configure).
