I have been using my Xperia Z2 for months now with a couple of options of how to edit apps. Every time I took a picture, then pressed the small preview pic, it prompts you to choose an app to open it in. Up until last weekend I could open my pictures in a free, pre-installed app (I believe just called photo editor) which allowed me to add things like a HDR Scape to the photo and adjust brightness, saturation etc by scrolling up or down on the screen. That has been completely removed and the editing apps I have now aren't anything near as good as what I was using.
I loved the installed photo editor on my G4. Suddenly it has changed to some completely different system with half the options. Was this an update or something I did?
Since the 5.1.1 upgrade I can not edit any photos? It says I need to download the photo editor but when directed to the page there's no such editor any more? Here's what comes up when I select the photo editor..Rotate, crop etc works fine
I got an LG4 yesterday and while messing around with it edited a few photos with no issues. Today I updated the google photos app to ensure that my photos were being backed up and now the photo editing options have changed and they will no longer save. When i click the pen icon to edit it has different editing options and every time I try to save a picture it says "unable to save."
The option in image gallery to edit photos no longer works. It only brings up a partial blank window with no editing options as in the previous fw versions (where editing worked fine).
I updated the Google Photo app last night as it has been pushing me to update and wouldn't work until I did. After the update, all of the previous photo edition options are gone (i.e. HDR, Dramatic, B&W, all of the vintage and frames, etc.) The only options available now are Auto, Light, Color, Pop and Vignette under settings and then when you pick the landscape picture icon, you have things like Mars, Phobos, Saturn, Ariel, Venus and Pluto. They just change the color of the pictures, don't add any effects.
Following the L update I found I couldn't edit photos normally in Photos....just got 'Downloading resources etc' message. Eventually found a fix....turned off mobile data, turned on wifi, tried to edit a photo, got the message, clicked OK, and the editing tools downloaded. Photo editing now back to what it was before the update.
just bought a new Nokia Lumia 900 phone. I would like to edit my photos on my PC (Win7), but I can't modify them. I tried it with ACDsee Photo Manager and Adobe Photoshop too, but it always failed, and an error message comes out everytime 'Can't write output file'. I have the right Security settings in the Lumia 900 Photos Folder Properties, but it seems like the Lumia 900 have a special file security system, and I don't have permission to modify my own photos.

I tried,so many photography apps..certain apps good, but, the problem is,when we save after we make editing in that apps, they save my photo in low resolution..
Need help editing contacts. They dublicate each time I sync with itunes, deleted ones from phone reappear. Can't find master list on itunes (?) Apple computer to edit. Not using address book - so where are they coming from? I do have icloud.
On the weekend I had relatives over, and I was just taking some photos with the One, and one of the photos looked great, but somehow I stupidly tapped the screen and delete it. Don't know how I messed up like that, but it's gone. It didn't get to auto-backup to the cloud either. I've tried some of those android recovery programs, but they require USB mass storage, which the HTC One doesn't have. Is it possible to recover the deleted photo?
I created a photo album and synced it to my iphone. My computer had an issue and had to be completely restored. I lost all of my previous stuff. That album no longer exists on my itunes and I cant delete it directly off of my phone OR my restored computer because it no longer exists on my itunes. I would really like to delete this album off of my phone!
I just bought my z2.when editing the quick settings to adjust the arrangment of icons, on clicking done the arrangement returns as if i adjusted nothing
how to get the time shift editor thing back up if you want to edit video later. I took some vids but í could not edit it while I was b out and I can only seem to do it in movie editor but it's not as good.
I have a nice big SD card so I can use my phone as an MP3 player. but I find the slow process of making playlists on the phone very irritating!Surely there is a way I can add or edit playlists to the phone via my PC?I use iTunes to arrange my MP3s, the best process I have found so far is to export the playlists. open them in media player and sync with my phone. The songs show up in Newly Added which I can save as a playlist
How to recover photo that I deleted accidentally while I was trying to upload the photo to the computer? Also, isn't itunes will backup myself whenever I sync? Will the old back up file got updated when I connect the phone with computer?
Just got an Xperia X10. I have been trying to edit some contacts. When I finish editing, I tap "done", it says "saving contacts", then when I look in the contact list, that contact is gone! I've lost 3 contact details so far.
As the title said, deleted photo's thumbnails appear in my N97's capture gallery. I capture an image or two and when I go to my Photos > Captured I see tumbnails of images I deleted a long time ago. When I open a file I still see an image that was deleted ower a year ago.
Only when I click "edit" do I see the recently captured image that I should have seen in the first place.I tried everything. Restore factory settings, delete everything the phone lets me in explorer... still the problem persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I have a couple of iphones that synchronise with my macbook pro via photo stream. My phones are almost full and I want to free up some space by deleting all photos (both Photo Stream and Camera Roll). But I don't want any photos to be deleted from my MacBook.
