I tried to see if it would restore my Mobile Data toggle on Sprint but no luck. Others give it a try, it's called QuickPanel Restore in the Galaxy App store. It will attempt to restore your toggles that disappeared and then request to uninstall itself.

I'd rather not get an app. I do have "system UI tuner" activated and in there is something looks like a customization menu but I can't get it to actually work.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI know the original Anna updates caused Quickoffice and PDF viewer to disappear but the following updates would install them. I just finished applying all the Anna updates and am still missing Quickoffice and PDF viewer. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to get them back?Not sure if this matters but I had the paid version of Quickoffice. Since I installed that a while ago I am thinking the Quickoffice in the Anna update is a newer version.

It is important to notice that I didn't removed such icons, because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. When you remove/insert icons on this panel, they auto arrange in this screen. So it is not possible to leave the screen with these "holes".
This happens when I switch users in the phone. The guest user does not have the same icons than the proprietary, so when I switch back, my icons are not restored. To workaround I have to edit this menu and move any icon, or restart the phone.
So i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

I need the wifi because ATT will charge you your first born for data usage. MOTO current Android version says 2.2.1. I dont want to be violated.

Whenever I am using Google Maps for navigation and I plug in my phone to my quick charger, it doesn't actually charge the phone. It just keeps the phone at the same charge level, but never actually charges the phone. I know the charger works, because if I'm not using Google Maps, the phone charges as expected. I'm using a 3rd party quick charger, but that shouldn't matter.

I really like it on samsungs touchwiz and it would be a great implementation to have it on our devices. I've set up a custom signature in the account settings since I don't like to give Verizon free advertising via the "Sent from my Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone." However, when I use the quick Reply All in conversation view rather going directly into a message and replying from there, it adds the default Verizon signature.

There's apparently a new feature which allows you to access things like the flash light, wifi etc from the lock screen (Screen shot below). But I'm swiping down on the lock screen and nothings happening. Is this something that needs turning on in settings somewhere? I've been hunting round on the net and whiles there's plenty of articles covering the new feature, theres nothing on how to enable it.....if it needs enabling.

It will have lots of times when it doesn't register touch, like when I'm typing, scrolling, or when trying to pull down the quick settings/notification bar, it takes several tries. Also, when I set the phone flat it won't hardly register any touch at all.
I have tried the following to try and resolve it:
- complete factory reset
- changed launchers and keyboards
- making sure screen is clean/fingers aren't cold etc
- changing the long press settings for the phone
If I click Edit & look for it in the rest of the inactive icons it's not there either - I mean it's not even there for adding. I used to have it & use it every once in a while

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Mobile Data quick launch icon disappeared into oblivion on the 11th June 2015 in Macau. I am Malaysian. Since this could be a global problem looking at the postings here, I guess Samsung has to do something before important icons disappear again.
This problem of icons disappearing could be prevalent in 5.0.2. or maybe specific to Samsung Galaxy S6 only.
Here they are, the Galaxy S II User manual and quick start guides from the Samsung's website. Might come in handy for some. Or those of us that loose the originals etc

Why don't we have wifi, data, bluetooth, and airplane mode or internet tethring toggles on notifications area? This will avoid jailbreaking our devices. Don't you think it will be verey useful ?

I am using Wanam lite custom rom and for some reason, the arrows indicating that there is a data activity are not showing up. There is also no data icon like 4G/3G/R etc to show that I am connected to the internet.
My data is on as I can browse and internet is working fine but this is important as well. I have tried changing LTE value to 4G in CSC features but that did not work....
I booted my phone in safe mode and when I returned into normal mode many of my apps' icons are missing. They are missing both from the home screen as well as the app drawer. They are still installed. I can open them through Google play and I still get notifications. I tried a cache partition wipe with no luck. how to get them back?
