Ok so I've noticed now twice in the past day that power toggles will close on its own. I start it with requesting to pin to notification bar and show but random times I notice quick toggles are gone and the date icon I use is not up.
Phone was working fine all day, just got home and was looking for my headphones so I toggled the flash and noticed my quick settings was different, press the edit button and bam they're missing. especially my data and hotspot I forgot which else ones was there [URL] ...
I tried to see if it would restore my Mobile Data toggle on Sprint but no luck. Others give it a try, it's called QuickPanel Restore in the Galaxy App store. It will attempt to restore your toggles that disappeared and then request to uninstall itself.
I just updated via bravo . once it reset and installed update. it reloads and wifi is off. I re connect to prior connection and it scans then disconnects. I need the wifi because ATT will charge you your first born for data usage. MOTO current Android version says 2.2.1. I dont want to be violated.
Again, I had an S5 and I can easily remove and add toggles. But can't find it on the 6P. I want to add NFC toggle. I'd rather not get an app. I do have "system UI tuner" activated and in there is something looks like a customization menu but I can't get it to actually work.
Cast Screen just became an option on my phone toggles. This is not the Mirror app beta as I uninstalled it via Titanium Backup when they announced mirroring with Chromecast at I/O.
Who feels motorola should implement battery percentage and notification toggles into motoblur. I really like it on samsungs touchwiz and it would be a great implementation to have it on our devices. We could pull down our notification and change the toggles or just check a box in settings and have battery percentage right next to the battery icon.
Why don't we have wifi, data, bluetooth, and airplane mode or internet tethring toggles on notifications area? This will avoid jailbreaking our devices. Don't you think it will be verey useful ?
I just bought Lumia 710 and I don't understand why isn't there an option to close an app and why do I have to press the back button as many times as needed to close an app. Are you planning to create this option with the 7.8 update?
Otherwise, together with the miserable battery performance, I'm thinking on returning this phone.
I've searched and am struggling to find much on these. What do they do, and how are they different?
According to HTC: Note: IfData connection is selected, HTC One automatically disconnects from the mobile network after 15 minutes when the screen is off and the data connection is idle (no download activity, streaming, or data usage). It reconnects and then disconnects periodically when the data connection is idle to save battery power.
Do these affect mobile data, Wifi, or both? Do they affect anything else?
I've left these off because I don't know how they work, and am getting fairly short battery life (10 to 15 hours, depending on use).
I just got my nexus 6p i noticed when i press power button I only see switch off option nothing else (restart or aeroplane mode etc) I scanned through everything and could not find anything,Attaching screen shot.

I can not close the apps... Once I have any app open, pressing the round button at the bottom is not working. I have to restart the phone to close any app. Anything I can do ?

I really find that going in a closing all the apps that are used frequently like my address book, safari, message, iphone, calendar is annoying. Is there any way for to set these apps to auto close after you back out?
I have an iphone 4s from Verizon and I am in Brazil with it. there are not Carrier settings to manually select a GSM carrier. My phone keeps searching for the Verizon network which is not goin gto be there.
Is there any way on how to close programs on X8 except on downloading advanced task killer apps? because clicking on the back button could only minimize the program and it could drain the battery fast...
are there any way on how to do it or i will just have to download the adv. task killer on the market? also, are there any apps on how to save the battery of the x8?
When I take my phone out of the car dock, the car app won't close.
I couldn't find a car app in the app manager, so I tried to manually close anything that might be the car app. Still no good. home button on the phone automatically goes the car app when the app is active.
I have am x6, and in the main am happy with it. However as previous owner of 3 diff n series, there are a couple of usability issues that drive me up the wall! For instance, i came to rely on the 'menu plus c' shortcut to quickly close apps. But no matter where i look, i haven't found a similar shortcut on the x6. Which means closing apps can only be done by going back in and doing it manually from within the app. Annoying and slow Is it me, or has that kind of shortcut been removed? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance kenty
