Since this last upgrade (I did mine this month, 6/15) all my text boxes start with a default space, thus preventing a capital letter unless I backspace EVERY time.
View 1 RepliesI have a friend with a Samsung Gravity Touch on the Bell network and for texting it is defaulting to the ABC method when using the touch screen. Her preference would be to use T9 but we cannot figure out how to change the default.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure why, but whenever I try to send an image from the default text messanger, the image automatically 'cancels' itself. The box will turn into a dark gray and say cancel. I current only a Samsung Galaxy S6.
When I first got the phone, everything was fine, but then all of a sudden the problem showed up.
When I use a different messanger app, such as Textra, which is what I use now, I can send the image fine.
The only way I can send an image via default messanger is to manually go into gallery and share the image. I would prefer not to do that.
I use the stock Samsung messaging app.I did something and now every time I write a text the print is quite large.It's rather annoying, I pinch it smaller but it's a pain to do it every time.How do I set smaller text as default?

So I went to their contact info, added notification field and then changed their notification tone. But for some reason when they text me, they still come up as the default notification as like every other text does. Why can't I customize the text notifications by adding a different text notification to each of my contacts that I want a different notification tone for?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen you type a text message, the keyboard slides up and the message box slides up above it so you can see what you're typing. That's the way its supposed to work. I just started seeing this today.
Now, my keyboard is covering the text message box so I can't see what I'm typing. I have to hit the back arrow to make the keyboard go away so I can see what I wrote before sending it. But not just text messages, seems like the keyboard is covering up ALL text boxes in everything making this phone pretty useless.
I have an e75-2 and cant figure out how to turn on predictive text entry. Anyone know how?

Droid2 2.2.3 just started a new (2 me) issue. I start typing a new text msg and it hangs after 4-9 characters, then exits, dumping the new msg.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI store my contact mobile phone #s in international format (ie +61 4xx xxxxxx) so they are accessable from overseas when I travel without having to edit. Outlook 2003 seems to put a space character by default after the country code, so these appear as +61 4xxxxxxxx in Outlook.When I sync my Nokia 6120 to Outlook this space then gets transferred across to the phone as the # for the contact.When I receive anything from the contact (phone call, SMS etc), the number I have saved for them does not exactly match the number that comes through (either because of the extra space, or because it will come through in Australian format ie 04xx xxxxxx) and the contact does not get recognised by the phone, and simply appears as the #, not the contact name.If I send an SMS first & this is replied to, it comes back correctly identified, but new messages etc from contacts are not identified.
Is there any way to remove the space that Outlook seems to put after the country code by default? And is there any way for the phone to recognise +61 4xxxxxxxx and +614xxxxxxxx and 04xxxxxxxx all as the same number for the same contact?
Since Saturday I have not been able to use my browser, bbm or email. I noticed my GPRS is now gprs (change from capitals to lowercase) i thought this may of been, because i was away from home. However i am now home and nothing has changed and i am still unable to use these resources. I have resetted my phone various times and done everything i could think off.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Recently the keyboard keeps defaulting back to the Samsung keyboard, rather than the Google keyboard which is my preferred option. I've reset the default in Settings repeatedly.

While using the physical keyboard it is randomly changing letters to uppercase and then adding punctuation.
I am setting up my email accounts and I have two AOL emails and one gmail.When I click on AOL tab and enter in my email address and password the phone says I already have that account.It is not on the phone though. Is there anyway to reset the Accounts page back to default to start all over?

I checked it and my apps are only using about 1.0gb, with data downloads, pictures and so on the phone say it's only using about 4gb but the rest of it says other 11.5gb. I cleaned the internet history, catch files, all calls in the log, and so on. I can't find what is burning up all my storage space. Is there some hidden stuff somewhere I have to clear or something. I thought the problem would be pictures and videos but it turns out 3GB are being used for contact storage, this is absurd because I only have 236 contacts. I do have it connected to my FB so I have contact photos on most, but that still seems like a ridiculous amount of space. I've had the phone for about a year and I clear cached data regularly because of the space issue. What do I do? Do I need to delete the contact photos? And if so how? I can't even update apps on on my Verizon Galaxy S5. I uninstalled several apps to try to free up room, but I'm still getting "insufficient space" errors. Photos and videos are going to direct to SD card (unless I'm doing it wrong, but I see the SD card indicator). Is there a quick way to tell which app may be putting too much data on the phone rather than the SD card? Or where space is being taken up that can be freed or moved?

I've just done factory reset, formatted the external 32 gig SD card, re-installed just a couple apps and STILL get the same error message. It seems that in order to use the other language I have to cancel out English.
I use my s2 as a storage device to transfer files between home and work but the free space on my usb storage seems to be lower than it should be.The total space says 11.50gb and between pictures, audio and downloads etc its says i am using 3.19gb but it lists my free space at 3.67gb so where is the missing 4.64gb? If i recall i used to have over 6gb of free space so im not sure why this has dropped. I havent added any more files since then because once ive transfered my files between home and work i delete them.
