I can't take screenshots of my Samsung S5 anymore.Palm Swipe is enabled of course. Pressing menu and power button also doesn't work.An application must be blocking it, but I don't know which.

Because of this problem I cant turn my device off when i want, mute calls or lock it. I tried resetting my iPhone, every setting goes to default but my lock button keeps making screenshots. My lock button and my home button work perfectly its just the fact that the lock button doesnt perform his job, it screenshots as my home button is pressed but im not touching it at all. A hypotesis can be that my home button is actually pressed all the time but when i use it to exit apps, it works normally. Â

I just received my S6 , and when I use the 4G network if someone calls me my phone doesn't ring , I only get a sms to tell me someone tried to call me ...
I know that voice doesn't work on 4G , and my phone should turn to 3G by itself but it doesn't do it , the only way to get calls is to force 3G only ....
I wanted to use the USB audio function on my phone to connect to my DAC and then connect my DAC to my headphone amp.
This works fine with my Sony Xperia Z3 and my OnePlus One when running Android 4.4.
However, with the Samsung S6 (running Samsung's touchwiz version of Lollipop) the USB audio function no longer works.
After upgrading my OnePlus One to Cyanogenmod 12 (running Lollipop) , the USB Audio also ceased to function.
So I noticed that some apps utilize a floating menu button (I think that's because the s6 doesn't have a dedicated menu button?) that appears like a circle with 3 dots on the screen wich you can move around.
However it appears to somehow be broken, as when I tap the button a menu appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears again, not giving enough time to do anything and of course rendering such an app useless.
I don't know if touch screen is broken or it might be a problem with Galaxy s6?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI made an update yesterday for the French firmware (BOGS TO COH2) android 5.1.1 especially to solve this problem. My screen works perfectly but the top of it doesn't work when I tap. I downloaded a multitouch app. And I found that the swipe works perfectly if I came from the bottom. So I think that it is a software problem. Some permanent solution? Rebooting the phone solves the problem for a while.

1. Press the power button & Home button together.
2. Use the Motion & gestures, palm swipe to capture method.
Method 2 so far work for me. But it's a little tricky because sometimes the screen register my palm swipe as finger swipe and it moves the page...
I prefer the use of physical button. But I couldn't figure how to use the method 1. Whenever I try to hold down the power and home button together (for about 2 seconds), it's either launch Google Now or it bring me back to the home screen...
When I take a screenshot they all seem to look like the one in the thumbnail..... When you click on it it sometimes looks the same and sometimes it looks normal. How do I stop it? (I have also viewed them in different gallery apps and if not fuzzy the thumbnails are just black).

After installing the phone from the box all worked fine. Then suddenly message reminder stopped working despite all the settings are correct. After a complete reset (factory settings) all worked fine again for a few days and now again message reminder is not working.

My wifi is connected, shows great signal strength, yet it doesn't work? Anything I try doesn't work, FB, Chrome, any app that uses internet connection.. I don't get what's going on... I did remove the WIFI info and forget it, then reconnect... that doesn't work. The only thing that fixes it, is if I restart my phone.

Today after having my beloved Samsung Galaxy 6 for over a month, the finger print scanner didn't recognize my finger print. I don't have a back up password (or if i do i don't remember it) so I just typed in something so i could sign in with my google account. I typed in my correct email and password but its saying my password is invalid. I know its not invalid because I just used it on my computer. So now i really stuck..what do i do? When I enable Mobile Hotspot or share the connection through USB, the other devices connect just fine, but no data is received at all.
* Tested with both a laptop and another phone
* To rule out carrier restrictions, I put the SIM in a Nexus4 and enabled Wifi tethering, then connected to it with the S5, works np, just not the other way around.

So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia E71 with 300.21.012 firmware. I can not call over VOIP/SIP if there is only an EDGE data connection availible. I activated "allow voip over WCDMA" but it doesn't solve the problem. It allways says "unable to register to service".
VOIP/SIP calls over 3G work fine.
Has anyone an idea how to solve that.
