I have a nokia E71 with 300.21.012 firmware. I can not call over VOIP/SIP if there is only an EDGE data connection availible. I activated "allow voip over WCDMA" but it doesn't solve the problem. It allways says "unable to register to service".
VOIP/SIP calls over 3G work fine.
Has anyone an idea how to solve that.
I have a problem with the message reminder on my Galaxy S6 Edge.
After installing the phone from the box all worked fine. Then suddenly message reminder stopped working despite all the settings are correct. After a complete reset (factory settings) all worked fine again for a few days and now again message reminder is not working.
What could be the course?
Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?
Whatsapp Messenger does not work on E (Edge ) or H (HSPA) on Lumia 710. Read in the previous post saying to report it to the wassapp grp. But the messenger works properly on a SAMSUNG OMNIA W ( a WP7.5 Device )on E (Edge) . This Problem is only with LUMIA .
View 2 Replies View Relatedid like to know who has a nokia e66, performed the v.500 upgrade and has GPS that doesn't work anymore after doing the upgrade, am i the only one?? what did the new upgrade changed? how to fix this? i did all i could think of.. format memory card, reset phone, reinstall firmware etc etc. before upgrade it was working like a charm, getting signal fast and all. tried to enable and disable a-positioning, etc etc, resetted, removed battery etc etc.... and i upgraded the firmware with Nokia Ovi Suite for the note.. so the "good" stuff.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a new C5-03 a week ago, I installed Nokia Suite and connected my phone to download and install maps for my country (Morocco).To use free GPS I followed instructions on a topic already published here, by selecting Integrated GPS only and disabled positioning server on Application settings and also disconnecting from the net. Afterwards I used Integrated GPS and finding my position was succesful. I saved it as My Home and was happy I had a functionning GPS Phone finally. A few minutes later I tried to use my GPS but it couldn't find my position.I don't understand what happened, but it already worked once for a minute before I stopped it. i have Nokia E66 RM-343...i updated it to the last firmware , i used Nokia PC Suite To Restore my data : contacts, messages ,emails message , setting , bookmarks , etc
Everything is well but when i press the contact button it doesn't work , when i go to communication > Contacts also no response noticing that before the restore it opened but there was no contacts.when i receive or make a phone call or a message , the contact name appear
So I have bought E72-1 (RM-530) and it works fine with my GSM card but it does not work with WCDMA card (no login to network). I am surprised because I was reading specs at the Nokia website and it does state that it works with all WCDMA bands.

Normally if i touch the left arrow under and then spacebar u get the search lamp with more symbols now i have to touch them at the same time. whats wrong? if i do the arrow first and 1 sec later the spacebar is doenst work, then got a space. Eg. around the corner from my house is supermarket Billa, its POI is on map on the right place but when I try to search for Billa, I got no result at all! This is not only in this case but found more cases.How is this possible? I tried to search more POIs from the maps now and I found that I was able to find only this POIs from Lonely Planet, Michelin, WCities.. but none OVI maps own POIs. Other places like streets, squere etc are fine... Somebody with same experience. Note: I´m always online and all the maps I downloaded to the mobile.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got a wireless Router and now have my own wireless network in my home. I searched for it on my N97, it found it, I added it to it's known access points and set it to connect automatically whenever needed. Here's the problem: it does connect automatically, but it only works for like 30 seconds. After that, it doesn't get disconnectted, but it doesn't work anymore either. It simply downloads no more data. The website doesn't finish loading, or if I try to acces another site, it doesn't load at all (Opera Mini gets stuck on connected). I tried to disconnect and reconnect to the network manually, and that works, but only for another 30 seconds, then the same thing happens. I tried this with the N97 integratet browser and Opera Mini, with the same results.
Mind you that I'm using the same wireless network on my laptop and it works with no problems. Also, note that I did use other WLAN networks with the N97 and they as well work with no problems. It's just my home metwork the phone seems to have issue with, and I'd like to know why, and how (if possible) i can fix this.
Hi all my girlfriend just got a nokia 7020 but the double tap feature doesnt seem to work anybody else having trouble with this??? we've checked in settings and its switched on.Hopefully somebody can help so i'll know if its a nokia problem or if i should send the phone back

After restaring the phone it works fine. An even more annoying problem is that when this has happened my phone doesn't receive calls either. I've heard that people have tried to call me and it has rang normally but my phone doesn't show that someone has called me. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have over 1,500 contacts in Outlook and has successfully synchronized them with Nokia E72 (last firmware). But quick search in Contacts application simply doesn't work - I can find only few contacts - others just dissapear when I start typing correct letters.
I tried to kill the process of this app and restart Contacts. Voila, it works correctly! But then in 5 min. I tried again and got just the same problem.Desktop quick search doesn't work too.
I've already tried to reload all the contacts in my phone - no results.
I have a Nokia E71 which as I write is not responding to any of the keys.When I turn it on it boots up and then gets to the 'Set date' window, which I can't get past because it does not register me pressing 'OK'.I think reinstalling the firmware will fix this, because before it stopped working it went through a phase of not working, and then working again, and then not.

I am running Ovi Suite on Windows 7 Home 64-bit and keeps on crashing. when i open it i get a message that says sth like "Ovi stopped working. windows: there is a problem that prevents the programme from working properly" etc. (i'm translating from italian). Full stop. Nothing more, nowhere to click. There is no error message.I saw this thread (/t5/Nokia-Ovi-Suite/Ovi-Suite-keeps-on-crashing-version-2-2-0-245/td-p/730687) and tried to follow the procedure but this does not apply to my case because:
1) there is no such thing like a window dialog suggesting "Check online for a solution and close the program" AND "close the program".
2) there is no such thing like "View problem details" etc.
Do you know how to fix this problem and/or give me a link where I can download a former Ovi Suite version that works properly?
my sons nokia 5530 has just been in for repair as it kept switching off soon as a call was answered (received phone back thurs 15th july ) all seems to be working fine now until he noticed today the auto rotate doesn't work i've checked the settings and the box has been checked also removed the battery for a while to see if it kicks it into touch can anyone shed some light as to why this might be happening before i take the phone back into shop, its not a massive issue but it is a function he likes to use.
