So I have bought E72-1 (RM-530) and it works fine with my GSM card but it does not work with WCDMA card (no login to network). I am surprised because I was reading specs at the Nokia website and it does state that it works with all WCDMA bands.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my X10 Mini Pro ( 1.6 Android, Model U20a, Kernel 2.6.29 / Build 1.2.A.1.174 ) right out of the box today with a Class 2 4Gb card. Problem is, it recognizes the card is in, but can't read it. Right from the start, it smacks me with a SDHC card shaped error, and I get an error message saying the card is blank or in a format that is not recognizable by the device. I got a new card, Sandisk, also 4Gb and Class 4, and it also does not recognize the other card.Reading the card with a card reader, all data is perfectly preserved, and the new card, I formatted it, repartitioned, nothing works.Android asks to format the card, which I allowed on both cards. Nothing happens. I get the warning that it will delete all data, and acknowledge that, but the format seems to take absolutely no time. It just jumps from one screen to the next without aparently doing any work at all, or take any processing time, or any progress bar, which I would have expected.I tried updating the software to no avail. It won't connect to the PC unless the SDHC card is inserted and recognized. Nor it will allow me to download any update without a properly connected SDHC card. So, I'm stuck.When a card is removed or inserted, the phone acknowledges that the card was removed or inserted. Mount/Unmount is not available.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe button to move app is not greyed out. I can click them and they change from "move to SD" to "move to phone". In fact, the screen shows me that only 20mb is left on the device and 2GB are on the SD card for the app. But when I go to my SD card the folder where the OB files are supposed to be is empty, and my available internal storage did not change. Samething happened to all the apps I tried to move. The phone tells me the apps have been moved but they did not.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the 3.2 upgrade for my 3G Xoom a week or so ago; I understood that when the upgrade came, it would work with SD cards just like the WiFI-only Xoom upgrade. Today I stuck a SanDisk micro SD into the slot, and I got an option in "Settings" to mount the SD, but it won't mount. Neither will computer (Vista OS) recognize an SD, nor will it create a Xoom Media section in computer file explorer when Xoom is connected by USB as the Motorola help site describes; all I get is the original Xoom folder that I had pre-3.2.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a 16gb Micro SD memory card online, but it doesn't work. I put it into my phone and it says to format and I format and everything. After formatting is complete, I connect my phone to my computer so I can sync it with my itunes. The problem occurs as soon as it gets done syncing. After it's done syncing and I disconnect my from computer, the "format memory card" message comes up again. If I say no, none of the music comes to my phone. Then I go to option > memory and then it says memory card is not readable. It has to be formatted because it might be corrupted.If I select yes to format it, all the data that I just synced erases and I'm back to the beginning. This happens every single time I do it.
However, one thing I notice was when I stop the syncing halfway through, the memory card works. But if I let it sync all 600 songs (which is about 5-6 gb out of 16), the memory card fails.can anyone help me? Maybe someone had a problem like this and found a solution. Appreciate all the help I receive. BTW, I'm using the Bold 9700 for tmobile.
Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?
id like to know who has a nokia e66, performed the v.500 upgrade and has GPS that doesn't work anymore after doing the upgrade, am i the only one?? what did the new upgrade changed? how to fix this? i did all i could think of.. format memory card, reset phone, reinstall firmware etc etc. before upgrade it was working like a charm, getting signal fast and all. tried to enable and disable a-positioning, etc etc, resetted, removed battery etc etc.... and i upgraded the firmware with Nokia Ovi Suite for the note.. so the "good" stuff.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia E71 with 300.21.012 firmware. I can not call over VOIP/SIP if there is only an EDGE data connection availible. I activated "allow voip over WCDMA" but it doesn't solve the problem. It allways says "unable to register to service".
VOIP/SIP calls over 3G work fine.
Has anyone an idea how to solve that.
I bought a new C5-03 a week ago, I installed Nokia Suite and connected my phone to download and install maps for my country (Morocco).To use free GPS I followed instructions on a topic already published here, by selecting Integrated GPS only and disabled positioning server on Application settings and also disconnecting from the net. Afterwards I used Integrated GPS and finding my position was succesful. I saved it as My Home and was happy I had a functionning GPS Phone finally. A few minutes later I tried to use my GPS but it couldn't find my position.I don't understand what happened, but it already worked once for a minute before I stopped it. Why isn't working again?What are the default settings for Integrated GPS to connect without using internet? To make sure if something isn't OK.

My music rests on the memory card but the MUSIC PLAYER does not 'see' it by default. If I use file manager to open the music files it will play them proberly, but I want to se my music library when I opt to play music.

Ive got a problem with my space bar. Normally if i touch the left arrow under and then spacebar u get the search lamp with more symbols now i have to touch them at the same time. whats wrong? if i do the arrow first and 1 sec later the spacebar is doenst work, then got a space. So the Spacebar( more symbols ) only work if u touch them at the same time.( leftunder arrow and spacebar )

Eg. around the corner from my house is supermarket Billa, its POI is on map on the right place but when I try to search for Billa, I got no result at all! This is not only in this case but found more cases.How is this possible? I tried to search more POIs from the maps now and I found that I was able to find only this POIs from Lonely Planet, Michelin, WCities.. but none OVI maps own POIs. Other places like streets, squere etc are fine... Somebody with same experience. Note: I´m always online and all the maps I downloaded to the mobile.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got a wireless Router and now have my own wireless network in my home. I searched for it on my N97, it found it, I added it to it's known access points and set it to connect automatically whenever needed. Here's the problem: it does connect automatically, but it only works for like 30 seconds. After that, it doesn't get disconnectted, but it doesn't work anymore either. It simply downloads no more data. The website doesn't finish loading, or if I try to acces another site, it doesn't load at all (Opera Mini gets stuck on connected). I tried to disconnect and reconnect to the network manually, and that works, but only for another 30 seconds, then the same thing happens. I tried this with the N97 integratet browser and Opera Mini, with the same results.
Mind you that I'm using the same wireless network on my laptop and it works with no problems. Also, note that I did use other WLAN networks with the N97 and they as well work with no problems. It's just my home metwork the phone seems to have issue with, and I'd like to know why, and how (if possible) i can fix this.
Hi all my girlfriend just got a nokia 7020 but the double tap feature doesnt seem to work anybody else having trouble with this??? we've checked in settings and its switched on.Hopefully somebody can help so i'll know if its a nokia problem or if i should send the phone back

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am unable to make calls. When I try to make phone call it doesn't even try to make the call. I choose a name from the address book to call and nothing happens. After restaring the phone it works fine. An even more annoying problem is that when this has happened my phone doesn't receive calls either. I've heard that people have tried to call me and it has rang normally but my phone doesn't show that someone has called me. Otherwise the phone works fine so I newer know that it is in this "problem state" until I try to make a call.Software version is 025.007.240.02
