According to the information that I had read so far. There are 2 ways to capture screenshot:
1. Press the power button & Home button together.
2. Use the Motion & gestures, palm swipe to capture method.
Method 2 so far work for me. But it's a little tricky because sometimes the screen register my palm swipe as finger swipe and it moves the page...
I prefer the use of physical button. But I couldn't figure how to use the method 1. Whenever I try to hold down the power and home button together (for about 2 seconds), it's either launch Google Now or it bring me back to the home screen...
I dropped my phone (n85) and found out that my phone's capture key was detached and missing. Its so tiny and I can't find it anymore! THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?
When I take a screenshot they all seem to look like the one in the thumbnail..... When you click on it it sometimes looks the same and sometimes it looks normal. How do I stop it? (I have also viewed them in different gallery apps and if not fuzzy the thumbnails are just black).
My wife has the Lollipop update on her Samsung Galaxy S5 and not without issues. For one the update has completely screwed up her ability to connect to our home WiFi network. But a smaller less trivial problem is that the screenshot function no longer works or has been reconfigured. Any other way to screenshot of the S5 or is this function broken in Lollipop?
I can't take screenshots of my Samsung S5 anymore.Palm Swipe is enabled of course. Pressing menu and power button also doesn't work.An application must be blocking it, but I don't know which.
I noticed within the last month or 2 my screenshot photos have disappeared from my gallery. Is this a result of the Lollipop updates. When I hit gallery it only shows camera and downloads. It used to show screenshots too. S5
I have a problem with my otherwise perfect z3. Whenever I try to take a screen shot I receive a message saying that the operation succeed in a notification pop-up but, there's no way I can find my screenshot anywhere..
Is there a way that the galaxy s5 can capture raw images? Its available on new devices and i had read before that Android Lollipop will support it natively.
Is there a way to take a screenshot without using a separate camera/phone? I.E. with the iPhone you press the power button and the home button and it'll take a screenshot of what is on your display wether you're looking at your homescreen or using an app.
I LOVE the ease of taking screenshots in the V10, but it's practically useless to me since I always end up cropping, and ghe only crop tool on the screen shot edit screen is a free-hand tool.
Screen capture has stopped working on my sg2,if I hit home and power the task manager pops up?I did download Go sms pro but their screencapture would only work on their pages??and the original screencapture ceased working;I've removed Go sms pro in case that was causing an issues but as I said the screencapture is still not working>
every one I have an X-Ray with Android 4.0.4, Build 4.1.B.0.431 and can not seem to be able to do a screenshot as you are suppose to. I press down the on/off switch and the volume control, at the same time and nothing happens. I have tried to press one and then the other respectively and nothing happens?
It seems I cannot post a screenshot.Well, there are two icons exactly where the notifications appear, one it large, white and looks like two circles connected by a stick, the other and much smaller, black and looks the same. But I have no new notifications.
