May 29, 2015Is there a way that the galaxy s5 can capture raw images? Its available on new devices and i had read before that Android Lollipop will support it natively.

Apr 18, 2010I dropped my phone (n85) and found out that my phone's capture key was detached and missing. Its so tiny and I can't find it anymore! THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?

When I go on to iPhoto the iPhone doesn't show on my device list and the same happened when I tried image capture. Am I missing something here? Jul 4, 2012I'm having an issue - everytime I connect my iPhone to iMac I want to transfer the pictures to Image Capture and it always keeps giving me the same error message no matter what pictures I select to import.
It always says the following:

May 17, 2012Camera and vid recorder have stopped working. Camera message is could not capture image. Lots of space on card. Worked perfectly almost 2 yrs to now. Still able to see pics and videos and all menus appear functional.

I went to use the camera and it all seemed to open up fine but instead of seeing what the lens sees the screen was black. The centre focus [ ] was there and I could zoom back and forth just a black screen. When I click for a photo I get a message " Unable to capture the image " I have searched the web and found nothing conclusive. Battery pulls, a full wipe and installation of the o/s have made no difference to it's lack of function.

Aug 24, 2014I lost my hundreds of precious photos taken during my vacation during the import process using Image Capture. Â
I took hundreds of photos in my iphone 5s during my vacation. I came back and haven't started the iphone backup yet which was my first mistake. I then used Image Capture in my MacBook Pro to transfer the photos from 5s camera roll to a folder in my macbook. I checked the option "Delete After Import" which was my second mistake!Â
During the transfer, it successfully transferred some of the photos but over half of them were not. There was errors after the import process so those error out pictures were not found neither in my Macbook nor in my iphone.Â
I tried different recovery tool to scan my iphone or my macbook but still no luck.Â

It will connect to my phone, but it will say there are 0 photos to import. I've check and I am updated on both, and I've followed the other steps listed at iOS: Unable to import photos to computer. Â
Note: I actually think this started after updating my iphone to the latest software.

Galaxy S6 :: Cannot Capture Screenshot On Phone
Jun 4, 2015According to the information that I had read so far. There are 2 ways to capture screenshot:
1. Press the power button & Home button together.
2. Use the Motion & gestures, palm swipe to capture method.
Method 2 so far work for me. But it's a little tricky because sometimes the screen register my palm swipe as finger swipe and it moves the page...
I prefer the use of physical button. But I couldn't figure how to use the method 1. Whenever I try to hold down the power and home button together (for about 2 seconds), it's either launch Google Now or it bring me back to the home screen...

Oct 27, 2015When downloading an image either through my browser (Chrome) or an app, I click the notification which says "image has been downloaded". Every single time I do this, I get asked which app to use (I also have Google Photos installed and a File Manager). Despite selecting "Always" use this app, I always get asked.
Plus, when I select the stock Gallery app, the image comes up but I cannot share it from there, but at top right is a drop-down menu where I can set it as my Wallpaper. I have to go back to my Home screen, click Gallery, back out of the image to the main Gallery page, locate the image in the relevant folder (i.e. Downloads), open it, and then I get the full array of options at the bottom (Favorite, Share, Edit, Delete).
