I want to import my photos from my iphone (so that i free up the memory) but couldn't do it. When I go on to iPhoto the iPhone doesn't show on my device list and the same happened when I tried image capture. Am I missing something here? Is there a better way to transfer my pictures to my macbook and empty my iphone?

How do I stop my photostream from automatically opening (in iPhoto, Image Capture, etc.) when ever i connect my iPhone 5s to a computer? These things are private, and shouldn't pop up when ever I plug my phone into my workcomputer (to recharge), my moms PC og my girlfriends macbook..
It does it even when I have the phonelock activated.
I dropped my phone (n85) and found out that my phone's capture key was detached and missing. Its so tiny and I can't find it anymore! THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?

I lost my hundreds of precious photos taken during my vacation during the import process using Image Capture. Â
I took hundreds of photos in my iphone 5s during my vacation. I came back and haven't started the iphone backup yet which was my first mistake. I then used Image Capture in my MacBook Pro to transfer the photos from 5s camera roll to a folder in my macbook. I checked the option "Delete After Import" which was my second mistake!Â
During the transfer, it successfully transferred some of the photos but over half of them were not. There was errors after the import process so those error out pictures were not found neither in my Macbook nor in my iphone.Â
I tried different recovery tool to scan my iphone or my macbook but still no luck.Â

I recently just started having an issue trying to import photos and videos from my iPhone 5s to my 2009 macbook pro. (version 10.6.8). It will connect to my phone, but it will say there are 0 photos to import. I've check and I am updated on both, and I've followed the other steps listed at iOS: Unable to import photos to computer. Â

I went to use the camera and it all seemed to open up fine but instead of seeing what the lens sees the screen was black. The centre focus [ ] was there and I could zoom back and forth just a black screen. When I click for a photo I get a message " Unable to capture the image " I have searched the web and found nothing conclusive. I searched for this issue and found nothing, so sorry if I missed it but I am having a very specific problem since updating yesterday. When I edit a photo, mostly the crop feature, I get a loading circle and then my locked/passcode screen. Has anyone else experienced this? At first I edited about 2-3 photos and then hit this issue, but now it's every single time I hit edit. It's not a full reboot, just a loading screen, then passcode but all apps are still running and it only takes about 5 seconds.

My wife and I have iPhone 4S. When we hooked up (via USB) our iPhones to the Mac, it used to launch iPhoto and we would then upload/delete those pictures. Now that we are doing this wirelessly, it does not automatically launch iPhoto. Only problem is that when we launch iPhoto, it recognizes my phone but not hers.

After creating a new album, all the photo in it get duplicated, once in the app iphoto.
And keep duplicating every time the app updates the library! Now it's #12! Feels like the magician in "Fantasy" Disney's movie!
Note: luckily they are duplicated just in the app iphoto, not in the default image app.
