When I'm trying to taking a screenshot i'm getting a issue like that:
"Couldn't capture screenshot. Content may be protected or the memory may be full."
My memory isn't full and i tried it at Twitter, Instagram etc. and i got same issue. I tried the cleaning all cached data.

I am trying to take a screen shot of a page in an app but I keep getting a message saying "content may be protected or the memory is full". I know the memory is not full as I have only just got the phone. I can take screenshots of other pages.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAccording to the information that I had read so far. There are 2 ways to capture screenshot:
1. Press the power button & Home button together.
2. Use the Motion & gestures, palm swipe to capture method.
Method 2 so far work for me. But it's a little tricky because sometimes the screen register my palm swipe as finger swipe and it moves the page...
I prefer the use of physical button. But I couldn't figure how to use the method 1. Whenever I try to hold down the power and home button together (for about 2 seconds), it's either launch Google Now or it bring me back to the home screen...
I have bought a new mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro Sk17i and using a 4GB Micro SD Transcend card in it. All goes fine. But sometimes when I open the camera it shows an error "Memory card is write protected. Cannot edit files". The same error I get when I try to open the galler or media player. But I use a third party File manager App which shows and allow me to open the contents in the Micro SD card except image and music, video files. Other files such as .pdf, .html open in Adobe reader, HTML viewer or browser without any issue. Also this error does not appear after I restart the mobile. For some 5 - 6 usage of camera this error again appears. And the card is not damaged since I checked with connecting to the Laptop thorugh USB mode (both Mass storage and Media transfer mode) also through a card reader, everything works fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was given a blackberry tour 9630 (sprint) as a gift and its working fine but now i need to Instal Whatsapp on it through the pc suit and every time i do it it tell me there's content protection on my device, i have read a million article and disable all form of protection but its still telling me the same things, the only thing i can point out is when i go to my phone option-security option I do not see anything as content protection so i go to encryption and i disable it but still nothing working on having the Whatsapp installed can anyone help with advice on what to do, less i forget i have done a factory restore as well and still nothing done.

My address book takes up quite a bit of memory; so does my calendar -- both of which were synced from Outlook. Is there any way to have the addresses/calendar data stored onto my microSD instead of the device memory?
Lastly, I noticed that when I call people using my Curve, it shows up on their caller ID as "private name, private number." Where can I change this setting? Is it in my provider's settings (which I can access online) or on the BlackBerry's settings somewhere? Also, is it possible to at least NOT have it show private when calling those on my address book, such as friends & relatives?

I updated my software and it worked but then the problem came back again so i repaired it..which reinstalled the software and it worked but it came back again. It dint show any error or anything, I just could no longer receive msgs. Just last saturday i once again repaired it, and on monday im stopped receiving sms. At about the same time it shows that my memory is full even though i changed to an 8GB card. i only have 1GB of data on it. What can i do? ive tried using other sim cards and clearing the messages. No luck I think all my apps are being saved to phone memory which is slowing down the phone too and giving me that alert. Is there a way for me to transfer my downloads to the SD card?
View 9 Replies View RelatedLike always, on previous Symbian phones I have locked my memory cards with passwords and if you were to insert that locked card into another Symbian phone, it would immediately ask you to enter the password. I did so with my old phone (Nokia C7) and now after inserting that locked card in the 808, nothing comes up.. it doesn't ask for a password input. I am now stuck with a 16 gigs locked micro SD card to which I know the password but I can't unlock it! I know for sure that password protected cards will not show up on computers and it doesn't show up on my gf's Android either. I have been to a Nokia care shop and they have tried with other Nokia phones but nothing worked. They suggested using the phone it was locked with but that's not a possibility because it was broken into pieces and sent to Finland
What else can I try to be able to unlock/input my password into this SD card?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem that my E5 keeps telling me it is out of memory, to the point where it has become unusable. I've deleted applications and messages, but it seems to keep filling up and either tell me memory is low or that it is out of memory.
Options -> Memory -> Phone Memory tells me that there is over 200MB in 'Other Files', but File Manager doesn't show them and neither does the file explorer I downloaded from the Ovi Store. So I have no idea what can be taking up all the space...
I don't seem to be the only person with this problem, and since I've deleted as much as I can I don't see how it can be my fault! I am getting so frustrated with this phone
I dropped my phone (n85) and found out that my phone's capture key was detached and missing. Its so tiny and I can't find it anymore! THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?

Later i found out that I had made a mistake since the memory card contains software and all. I used to take screenshots by long pressing powerbutton and screenshot option. But screenshot option is not available there. I have also tried pressing the power button and volume down. No use.
