I was wondering if there was a way to sync my Runkeeper data into the S Health app?
I was under the impression that this would happen automatically.
I have checked my Runkeeper settings and under the sharing settings it says it is connected to S Health however no data has transferred over. Have I missed something?
I can't figure out why. Using the WiFi connection I sync the S Health app on my S4 to my Samsung account and then sync it on my S6. It remembers my personal biometrics but it doesn't have any record of my workout activity from the past two months. How can I get this information restored on the S6?

It would give me a small hourly bar chart, but in the previous version I could slide back and forth through the bar chart, and it would tell me "12:30-1PM, 564 steps". I can't find that information anymore. Where to find that data again?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have entered medical ID info and shared apps links into the Health app on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1.1). I am using an iPhone 5s (iOS 8.1.1) to gather sleep data and am sharing it with the Health app. When I open the Health app on that phone (same Apple ID as iPhone 6) none of the data from other apps and medical ID are present on that phone. Is this working as designed, or is there a switch somewhere that will allow me to have one dataset for the Health app across all devices logged in with my Apple ID?

I got a replacement phone recently and ever since I disabled things and fiddled with my settings S Health pedometer's shoe icon saying "Paused" has been stuck on my lock screen. I don't have S Health or the pedometer turned on or even on my phone. Now my lock screen doesn't tell me what song I'm listening to anymore.

But while I'm using my phone and i put my finger over the sensor it lights up red! Even a blanket lights it up. I don't know why it started doing this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Samsung Galaxy S5 and prefer to use the Gmail Android app, it works fine under wifi conditions but as soon as I switch to "data" connection it just stops. I can get around the problem by switching off the Gmail app alerts and turn on the "default" phone email app and then I get alerts as normal when out and about. As soon as I get back to wifi as soon as I turn off the default email app and turn gmail alerts back on with a few seconds I get the gmail alerts
So something somewhere is stopping gmail from receiving on "data" when I'm away from wifi..This started a few weeks ago, it seems to happen everywhere, including roaming on foreign networks.If I manually search for new mail on Gmail app it picks them up if I swipe down and then I get the mails.
I think I've checked every possible setting there is, cleared all cache uninstalled / re installed, always the same result, even rebooted in recovery mode and cleared cache
My quite new (3 weeks) S6 did a factory data reset on its own. It happened while I was driving for 2hrs on a highway, with the phone resting on the empty passenger seat, not touching the phone. Lost all data, all apps, all pics. Very frustrating. After 3 days of research (visiting Verizon store, calling Verizon, calling Samsung, internet research), the possible cause may the following:
About 2-3 hours before driving, the phone did a scheduled automatic update, which took more than 30 min to complete. This all happened in a signal-weak area. Tech support said, although the update completed, it may have had some flaws, and when the phone detects that, it may resort to a factory data reset to avoid greater functionality problems.
Unfortunately, the end result included functionality problems, most notably that the phone calendar only synched partially (!!) with my desktop Outlook calendar, and promptly I missed two important appointments.
When a scheduled update comes your way, make sure you backup all contacts, photos, data etc, before allowing an update to perform.
Why can't I remove the health app in IOS 8.1.1? I do not give Apple permission to record my medical information.  The automated tracking is unwelcome and unacceptable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 6 plus and recently purchased the Jawbone UP Move. The issue I am having is that both my Jawbone and healthkit are writing steps data to the dashboard. This is causing step counts to be extremely high. Additionally, the Jawbone is duplicating steps that it delivers to healthkit. So what I am seeing is duplicate Jawbone + Healthkit steps in my dashboard. Is there any way to turn off Healthkit from counting steps?Â

I'm pretty happy with the built in LG G3 exercise app, but have noticed that the weekly view of the exercise stats has the wrong date. The app shows that I am recording data for yesterday. Makes me think I'm hearing some twilight zone music.
For example, today is Friday the 24th, it shows no activity for today, but is logging my activity today under Thursday the 23rd.
Yup, twilight zone music. I cannot find somewhere to set the date or such. The daily tracker shows the correct day and date.
Clear data on the app? But then I lose my history. Just seems like a bug in the App software to me.
I'm constantly battling low internal drive space on my Tab S (I'll NEVER buy another 16GB internal drive device), but this question should also pertain to my S6.
When I go into my "Storage" settings, I have the option to clear my cache with one click. I'd like to use this function to clear off my cached browsing, imgur, etc., but my concern is my games.
1) If I clear the cache, will I lose my saved game data?
2) Will I lose any settings for any apps?

View 1 Replies View Related i have a galaxy s6 through Bell and it is completely stock and i have not modified it in any way. i am having an issue where some apps, but not others, will not download data unless i am on wifi. i do have some apps that have background data restricted but i am having issues when the apps are in the foreground and are actively being used. i have checked to make sure that there are no data limits or restrictions blocking data, i have full lte signal and i have tried toggling between lte and 3g with the same results.
i have used the phone for 5 weeks at least and for the first 3 weeks all was good until this issue crept up and i had to do a hard reset. i started from scratch and reset the phone and all was good for another 2 weeks and now it is an issue again. as an example, i open the play store app and it loads up the icons and i can use lte and load all info and pics,etc, but when i try to download a new app or update an existing one it will indicate that it is trying to download but nothing happens. i can switch to the browser and it will open pages but when i switch back to the play store it says that background data is disabled when it is actually not.
today i have also had issues with google music where it will allow me to play radio stations over lte just fine sometimes and other times the icons will be greyed out and it will not allow the radio stream to open unless i switch to wifi. the settings are set up to allow me to stream over data, etc so it should be working.i have had many android devices in the past and am usually able to figure this stuff out but i am stumped on this one.
I know just connect the data cable to computer and transfer data but when i connect data cable to computer it does not show any thing on the computer and not even on the phone.so how should i make my phone able to transfer data to pc.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have noticed an issue with the Galaxy S5 that apparently only occurs with the Verizon variant. I work for a place called Wireless Advocates, we are the cell phone kiosk inside of Costco. I'm asking about this because I've had three customers come in to ask about this background data issue.
I'm not sure what triggers this issue but when I try opening up google play I get the "Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled" error. It then gives you the ability to either quit or enable the data. If you press enable it takes you to the account screen in settings.
When I go to Data usage the option to "restrict background data" is greyed out. You can't even select it and it isn't checkmarked either. Just to clarify, accessing the internet and other things on the phone work perfectly fine. It's just the use of Google Play that is having issues. I called Samsung customer care and they aren't aware of this issue at all. Also note that force stopping google play, play services, removing the google accounts and adding them back and rebooting the phone haven't solved it. After the reboot the phone will appear fine and then a box that says "Restricting background data".

So I've been playing Clash Of Clans for years now, and I had a village on my old iPhone 4 which was shared with my iPad and set up with an old game centre account. Unfortunately, that account no longer exists, and I wanted to put the village on my new iPhone 5s. i have an iPhone with all my music on it and apps etc. The problem i have my computer crashed and i lost everything on my computer. I restored it to factory and i just got iTunes.
My question is, if i sync to what "essentially" is a new computer will i loose everything on my iPhone? (music) In have a 8GB 3G that is j/b on 3.1.2,
Is there any way to sync and avoid loosing my music?
I can't sync my iPhone and back up my data with my computer because iTunes says to enter the passcode into my iPhone to unlock it, but I am unable to unlock and enter in my passcode on my iPhone because the screen is shattered. I have my replacement iPhone with me and I'm not going to activate it until I can sync/get the data from my broken iPhone. I have the envelope to send my broken iPhone back to the Verizon store or whatever so that's not a problem. I just can't sync my old iPhone with my computer.

My computer crashed and we lost the hard drive. I did back up to carbonite, but essentially it is like having a whole new computer. I need to sync my phone to my restored / rebuilt mac, but the phone will think I am syncing to a brand new computer. How do I prevent loosing the following;

2) Contact's on my phone
3) Calenderon my phone
My iTunes library should be OK, and I'm assuming my app's will be too. If not couldn't I just download the purchases again?
