Jan 30, 2011I've set options for many apps (like to always allow the network access, to ask for reading user data the first time, etc.), but when I start the app, those options are not in effect. As one specific example, for Opera Mini, I set the option to always allow network access. But when I start this app and choose to open a link, it asks for the network access. Same for reading the user data. I checked the settings in the App Manager and they're fine, but just not in effect. I restarted the phone; still the same thing. The settings are present there alright, just not working. What else can be done to tell the phone to use the options set through the App Manager?

Apr 25, 2011I am using Nokia E7. I found this deature where in you can map a remore WEBDAV address drive to your Nokia File manager. I have accounts with skydrive, box, drivehq ets. I tried to map the WebDav address and provided the login details. The icon does show me the n/w drive. But when I connect, nothing happens. Can you help me? Is there a step by step document/guide which shows us how this can be done? The user manual provided with E7 does not have all these details!!

Jul 13, 2011I have a nokia E7, which for the most part have been good. Most of the issues i have had with it have been PICNIP's, but now, it's starting to bug me. Some time ago, when the phone was about 6 weeks old, it developed what i assumed to be a hardware bug. No matter what i plugged into the USB port, it told me "USB-device not supported. Remove the unit" and if I press ok it says "error in the USB connection, remove the cable" (I'm translating this from Danish, so this might not be the exact English error code). As the error persisted through a hard reset, i shipped the phone to repairs, where they changed the radio module, where the USB port is soldered to. Now, about a month after i got the phone back, the error has returned. As i doubt i have hit the statistical "faulty unit" lottery twice, i'm starting to wonder if this error is also a "problem in chair, not in phone", so have anyone encountered the same problem? And any ideas how to resolve it?

How do I remove the devices in the list or better still stop the list from popping up at all? Sep 17, 2010I have two questions for people in Nokia before baying this new communicator
1. Are they intend to put in final production of the E7 device the Symbian^4 O.S?
2. If not, will it be possible to upgrade this device from Symbian^3 to Symbian^4 O.S?
That is, I think, the crucial problem in final production because the Symbian^3 is breaking in the everything except in visual part of UI which is a little bit démodé.As I can see on the Symbian page they are rushing to change this with a lot of changes in this part of O.S.it will be very disappointing to me baying such a device and after half a year faced with a new O.S. (specially UI which is most important for users-the name told us this-UI)

Oct 23, 2012I keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
